Forums - Sales Discussion - Global HW UP! Global SW UP! 6th July 2013

Nice Last of Us sales, but come on PS3, pick up the legs in NA. Your falling a bit. Hopefully a price cut at Gamescom will change that.

Hmm. The Wii U has now shown stable growth for four successive weeks, and I can't even think of a major title launch in that time.

You know what that means?

Conspiracy time!

Nintendo must be inflating the sales figures!

Wtf happened to Halo 4? It just all of a sudden stopped selling or something?

Is there a good reason why PSP is selling so well in Europe

there is a PSP model (E1000) in europe for 99 dollars. But there is no wi-fi nor ad-hoc(if im not mistaken).

Yup. It doesn't even have stereo stound...

headphones?

I think that would be an option. Doesn't change the fact the cosole itself is mono, though. It only supports Stereo output.

More than DS, that's for sure. I understand why it isn't up there, however.

And why is that?

Also, is there some site that still tracks the PS2?

Damn, that was quick. PS3 holding amazingly well, not to mention TLoU! I still maintain that DS has no reason for being up there.

I agree. Im a nintendo guy and even i am not to fussed at this stage about the ds weekly sales. Same goes for the psp. The main chart for handhelds should just be the 3ds and vita.

The Vita tumbles, of course, but it's still above 20k in Japan, which is a positive sign. 討鬼 Den is looking like its biggest title yet, even despite being shared.

The 360 still seems to be surging a bit, which is odd. Perhaps some kind of tracking formula adjustment?

Jeez, TLoU is holding great for a story-driven game. Also, good legs for The Show.

Could the 360 boost be from the remodel?

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

Another week where the PS3-Wii gap has been reduced by more than 100k ^_^

Well, PSP is selling 4 to 5 times as much as DS so I think it does deserve to be up there, at least longer than DS.

I think you are overestimate PS2 a little. Sony still have a strong shippment, but the sales aren't so strong as you think, at least here in Brasil. And we are a PS country

We only got to enjoy like one day of the front page saying Vita > 50k. Boo. Oh well, until the next release!

I don't really have much else to say though really. Wii-U up a bit which is good; PS3 still going strong. I see VGC have decided that TLOU is doing better than AC in the USA for the time being, despite thinking differently for the start of last week.

If those numbers are correct for Project X Zone too, then it's doing much better than I expected. But I'm holding off until NPD to see how it's really done. Same with Muramasa really, I reckon the stock issues have interfered with the tracking here.

I see Jak Collection (PS3) tumbled out of the chart this week too, further adding fuel to the fire that they were just adding the Vita sales to the PS3 version. Le sigh.

I am just curious, when are the NPD numbers for June going to be released, cause were already the 12th of july. :o

Predictions for LT console sales:

PS4: 120M

XB1: 70M

WiiU: 14M

3DS: 60M

Vita: 13M
