Forums - Nintendo Discussion - [Flash Back] The concept design of Super Mario Skriker

I recently came by an old blog post summarizing about the building concept of Super Mario Skrikers for the original GameCube. Comparing the design between Nintendo's Mario and Next Level Games's Mario. Its show all the concept art leading into the final design of the characters. Its not much of the gridy attitude that I enjoy from Next Level Games's Mario, its the fact that he have personally same with the recent release of Luigi Mansion Dark Moon, it add more to the game. Kind of make me even more disappointed with Super Mario 3D World, I'm looking forward to Mario & Luigi 4 and Sonic Lost World more then 3D World.

What do you of the concept art, weird enough, my favorite is Hoodie Mario.

Mario Strikers Charged was my second most-played Wii game, after Brawl.
It is a great game, the online was so addicting. After seeing someone online do some awesome trick, I had to figure out how to do it myself. So rewarding when I pulled it off!

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

I'd much rather see a HD remake of the GCN one. Playing it on Dolphin in 1080p is just so beautiful.

My fav is this one.

Better yet they should just make a brand new game for Wii U. It could be what they're doing now that they finished with LM2.

Nintendo really need to get a hold of more American devs like Next Level Games and Retro Studios. I hope this doesn't sound racist but, I feel American devs. understand what the American audience want in their game. Nintendo is too Japanese to appeal to American, that's why they fail to draw in Xbox and Playstation, especially Xbox fans since Microsoft is a full American company.
