Forums - Gaming Discussion - Assassins Creed III... WTF!

Yea, AC3 is a mess and I don't think ubisoft has any intentions of fixing it. It's the only assassin's creed I rushed through. I'm hoping Black Flag isn't such a mess.

agreed. Once i had an invisible haytham, once the glitched started, i fucked around with the town folks, the npcs could still see haytham but i couldn't him. It was the Wii U version. Good times

I have played every entry to completion. I got 3 recently and it is a broken mess of a game. I got maybe 10% in and the amount of glitches was so bad I just stopped. No way am I getting 4 after this inexcusable disaster of a game. I do not think I have played such a poorly tested title. Stunned it was not battered in reviews.

Disagree. Is my favorite game of the franchise and encountered maybe 1 or 2 glitches. I also liked revelations so I'm in the minority there probably too.

AC3 was an ok game. It never gripped me so I never finished it. I liked ac brotherhood the best. As for glitches, I encountered only a few(ps3 version)

Yeah Assassins Creed Brotherhood was in my opinion the best game released so far.

In my opnion. ACII is still the best AC game

Agree with you, DamnTastic, although Brotherhood is a close second. Revelations was the worst for me, although I don't have high expectations for Black Flag. Felt they really could have left it a year or two before that came out.

The biggest complaint I had about ACIII was the prologue and intro to Connor which took up around a third of the game.

Connor wasn't even a real assassin character. He's a bad guy and just want revenge. i didn't feel the connection with connor like I did with ezio.

Ezio was the same. While Altair was never inducted in the same way (he was born into the order), both Ezio and Connor suffered tragic events early in their lives which complled them to join the Assassins. Both of them proceded to hunt down those who they felt responsible for their lost (Rodrigo Borgia and Charles Lee respectively). There are greater similarities between the two than you realise.

I stopped playing after 2, and googled the end of 3. I feel like the plot has become redundant, and I'm not interested anymore. Wasn't a buggy experience for me, and the gameplay is great, but what's good gameplay without a good plot?

You've done the game, the developers and yourself a major disservice there. You cannot truly understand the intensity of the emotions you would feel if we were to play all the way through all 5 games and then to experiene the ACIII's ending.

It's that bad.

I'm a big fan of Assassin's Creed 1, 2, Brotherhood and Revelations, so I pre-ordered the special edition of ACIII.
To date I haven't finished the game yet, because of how terrible and boring it is.
