http://www.pcgamer.com/the-elder-scrolls-legends-heroes-of-skyrim-will-add-150-new-cards-to-the-game/
The Heroes of Skyrim expansion for Bethesda's CCG The Elder Scrolls: Legends was announced at the studio's pre-E3 show with a stirring teaser, but no actual information beyond the fact that it exists. Luckily, for the deck-dealing Dragonborn out there, a new blog post on bethesda.net goes a little deeper into what it's all about.

The Thargoids are officially returning to Elite Dangerous this year
http://www.pcgamer.com/the-thargoids-are-officially-returning-to-elite-dangerous-this-year/
It began with the discovery of an alien crash site, followed by some alien ruins and artifacts, and then a truly shocking and exciting experience: the first sighting of an alien spacecraft, and then a second alien encounter a few months later. So far, these encounters with the mysterious Thargoids have been static, with players unable to do anything but watch. This year, that will change.

Take a dive into seedy, supernatural London in this ten-minute Vampyr video
http://www.pcgamer.com/take-a-dive-into-seedy-supernatural-london-in-this-ten-minute-vampyr-video/
I initially expected Vampyr, Dontnod's action-RPG about a blood-sucking doctor plying his trade in the Spanish flu-wracked London of 1918, to be a solitary sort of tale about a guy who has to keep his true nature hidden from the world at large. But the ten-minute gameplay trailer release today suggests a more pervasively-supernatural game, where vampires, undead "skal," monster hunters, and even run-of-the-mill humans coexist in full awareness of each other.

Crackdown 3’s explosive sandbox can be blasted through, if you’re in a hurry, in less than three hours, developer Sumo Digital has said. Two-and-a-half, to be precise. Trash a city for a couple of hours and you’re done.

>>That's ridiculously short.

Metro Exodus isn't an open-world game
http://www.pcgamer.com/metro-exodus-isnt-an-open-world-game/
When Metro Exodus was unveiled at E3, it looked very much like a mix of the previous Metro games and Stalker, particularly when we got a look at Artyom’s large map. It suggested an open-world affair. That’s not quite what it is, however.

Metro Exodus not being open world is great news. Too much open world bloat these days.

Is it real?.

Not sure, but I certainly would love if it were. I'd like to see them announce FFXV definitive edition for PC during Universes release, or at elast show off the PC version if it's to be delayed more. I don't like them keeping things in the dark for too long.

And my 1080 has arrived thus making my new PC build complete!

Now the reason why it is not the MSI 1080 is cause 1080s just got a new promo which is free Destiny 2 but I bought it couple of days before and newegg was being like "nooo, you bought it slighty before the promo" so I am refunding that and ordered the Evga 1080 FTW from amazon instead which costs about $30 more but the good news is, it is also clocked a lot higher so... Not the worst thing in the world and of course, free Destiny 2.

I guess I should post some nudes

Yea yea cable management but shush

<SNIP>

I wouldn't go for anything of them. Only 1080P. 27" only and under. :P
Plus I don't think you would be happy with TN. So that shrinks everything back to:

But then it's VA and you might not like the ghosting. (I wasn't able to find any good reviews on that monitor sadly.)
Plus not ULMB either which might be a deal breaker. (Ultra Low Motion Blur)

I also noticed you have one of those archaic mechanical spinning disk. Things.

I have a USB-powered Blu-Ray drive. Then I don't have to worry about buying an optical drive for any of my rigs. Just one drive to rule them all.

Dammit Nvidia, why must you and the other brands out there make it hard to find the perfect monitor..

I guess I could roll with it since it's not too deep in the 700+ area, just as long as the ghosting isn't so much night and day.

Either way, this means I can make the order for it and the rest of the parts today which is the bright side
