It's not every day that we see PlayStation 2 games making their way to PC, but what do you know: Bandai Namco's going for it. The latest issue of Japanese gaming mag Famitsu revealed that an HD remaster of the .hack//G.U. trilogy, originally released in 2006 and 2007, is coming to PS4 and PC as a bundle called .hack//G.U. Last Recode.

Overwatch's newest map, Horizon Lunar Colony, will launch next week on June 20. Horizon Lunar Colony is a two-capture-point assault map that takes place on the lunar laboratory where the gorilla tank hero Winston was raised.

A series of tweets this morning has revealed some interesting news for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. A new game mode is in the works that will bring zombies into the battle royale shooter. Not AI zombies, mind you, but player-controlled ones.

The Heroes of Skyrim expansion for Bethesda's CCG The Elder Scrolls: Legends was announced at the studio's pre-E3 show with a stirring teaser, but no actual information beyond the fact that it exists. Luckily, for the deck-dealing Dragonborn out there, a new blog post on bethesda.net goes a little deeper into what it's all about.

According to its site, Ashen is an open-world, non-linear game with "high risk combat" and "passive" multiplayer. "People you meet out in the world are players with their own agendas," the site says. "It will be up to you to decide how to deal with them."

It began with the discovery of an alien crash site, followed by some alien ruins and artifacts, and then a truly shocking and exciting experience: the first sighting of an alien spacecraft, and then a second alien encounter a few months later. So far, these encounters with the mysterious Thargoids have been static, with players unable to do anything but watch. This year, that will change.

I initially expected Vampyr, Dontnod's action-RPG about a blood-sucking doctor plying his trade in the Spanish flu-wracked London of 1918, to be a solitary sort of tale about a guy who has to keep his true nature hidden from the world at large. But the ten-minute gameplay trailer release today suggests a more pervasively-supernatural game, where vampires, undead "skal," monster hunters, and even run-of-the-mill humans coexist in full awareness of each other.
