you can do anything but once these lasers stop reading it is all downhill from my experience,xmb stuff still works but not much help if you don't download much
when you have to change the laser a couple of times its usually best to just move on

This blows lol how much does it usually cost to repair the laser and all the other bills that come with it? I'm looking at the thing and its 50 bucks just for shipping and looking at it.
Go to a friends place that has the console, log in to your profile, install it to your cloud ...and you will be able to play it on any console after with your profile.
Oh wait...nevermind this wont happen for another 10 years.

Can you not use your save files on other consoles?
I never attempted to do it.

The best part is he can share the game with ten people using family plan. They don't even need to be blood related.
I'm pretty sure the saves won't carry over unless you have ps plus cloud saving. Unless you can put it on a usb drive- or you could alternatively buy the same model ps3 and use the same hard drive no?
