The latest game in Namco Bandai’s Dragon Ball series is Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z, a team melee action game for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PS Vita, this week’s Jump reveals.

The game will feature four-player co-operative play, eight-player Battle Royale, online multiplayer, and huge boss battles. Super Saiyan God will also be playable.

Release date and price have not yet been decided.

The last Dragon Ball video game to launch was Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2011. It received mixed to negative reception.

i hope this ones better than ultimate tenkaichi, coz that game was utter garbage, why cant they make another game like budokai tenkaichi 1-3

On this I hope they are mixing it up as loved DBZ games on PS2, but got a bit stale for me.

I hope its closer to DBZ burst limit. That game was great but had very short story line. Developer dimps is making sonic lost world's 3ds version. I wish they could make another DBZ game preferably for next gen.

Those were the PS2 games right?  Cause if they were, those were made by Atari.

Sounds interesting. I hope its not like their same fighting games as I want to try playing a different approach with this franchise.

Yeah hope it's better than the last one. The Raging Blast games weren't bad, but they lacked something.

Also, Vita? What has Namco been drinking? Anyway, I'm happy will get it on the Vita, I liked the DBZ games for PSP.
