Someone was talking about xbox one and inflation adjusted prices...

I don't get why the Wii U's price is adjusted for inflation. It's still the same price.

But yes, it's a good price alright. Though we Europeans once again get screwed over.

Xbox 360 started at $399, no wonder it did so well against PS3

Because it came out a year ago, add on a year of inflation from 2012 prices to 2013 prices.

Its gonna be a bloodbath.

The problem is that in general, electronic prices are "dropping" by staying the same price in real money.

Over the last 4-5 years, the price of an iPad or iPhone has stayed precisely the same and the same is basically true for their high end competitors. It is meaningless to compare prices to what they were 5 years ago, it is better to compare it to their rivals

Actually, it started at $299. Though that was the bare-bones model, but the option was there.

The PS3 started at $499, but nobody remembers that, the $599 was the actual model (it had wi-fi)
