Here's hoping they announce Versus and Agito at E3.

There was meant to be XIII, Versus XIII and Agito XIII and they were all linked by crystals are something... But they changed Agito into Type 0 distinctly not XIII, so they kind of gave up on the idea of having a FFXIII franchise, this is what wiki has to say

I like to think all the signs lately are pointing towards something happening with Versus at E3.

This will never come out.

Etro, a goddess mentioned in XIII and a major part of the plot in XIII-2, had been mentioned in some of the stuff we already knew about Versus.  They're at least in the same universe.

Or they were.  Personally, I think they'll have scrapped both the names & the connections by now.
