If you switch to PC gaming, you can get 3rd party games, tons of indie exclusives, AND have a good computer AT THE SAME TIME!

ORDER NOW!!

Agreed, PC(Steambox for me) + WiiU is the best mix.  There are some sony exclusives that look great, but there are few microsoft exclusives that look great... another halo...yawn.

So... you are going to play WIIU for 7 year because you don´t like Sony fans... And you are bitter about PS3... And... You know what? Good, do that, enjoy it. I have nothing else to say since it is your prerrogative.

However, I have no problem with anyone, so, I will buy whatever have the games I want to play it.

Just out of curiosity, what did the PS3 do that left you sore?

I was the biggest PS fan since PS1 days, heck I own almose 600 games from the PS family. I was one of the first person to pre-order a PS3 and purchased it day 1, 3rd person in line over 100 people in line.  I lay down over $900 for it was dissapointed what it have to offer in the first year. Why pay for the premium price when the 360 had better performing multi-play games and Sony 1st party games at the time was a joke compare to the 360. After 9 months I got fed up and purchase the 360 and really never look back. Biggest dissapointment in my gaming life, you expect a system that cost almost double your competitor will provide more quality or equal to.

You poor, damn fool. You missed out on so much. So so much. Also, the 360 got a year early start, of course they were in better standing than the PlayStation at the time. If you look at the PS3 now, outselling the 360 consistently, it really paints a different picture. All consoles launches up to the first year or so are usually pretty sour. Just look at the Wii U, you can't honestly say it is doing much better than the PS3 back then.

You can't really be mad at anybody but yourself for rushing a purchase without (what I can only assume) proper research on upcoming titles, features, etc. Blind fanboyism is dangerous.

As of now the WiiU is the only console I own and happy with as of next gen. M$ made so much stupid decision with the Xbox One that I'm not too happy with so that's a NO go. I'm still bitter with Sony over the PS3 so as of right now also NO PS4. Most importantly PS fans pissed me off this gen, so it pain me each time when I pruchase anything Sony as of late.

I really hope that 3rd parties start to see the light and support the WiiU so I don't have to jump in XboxOne/PS4 in the near future. Who else is in the same boat?

Personally, I agree with you. For me PERSONALLY, I buy Nintendo consoles first and foremost for their first party games. And then for the third party titles, etc.

With Wii U, it's undoubtedly going to get great 1st party games, it's already got a ton of confirmed great (and to me the best part, RETRO styled) indie downloadable games, and it's still got third party support where it matters (meaning that EA doesn't). It'll get it's share of 3rd party exclusives, and companies like Activision, Ubisoft and Sega, at least, hopefully others like Capcom and Square, etc., will continue giving it multiconsole ports, and for THEIR part, at least as far as Ubisoft is thus far concerned, it still looks like Wii U is getting a greater volume of multi-console ports than Wii did.

But honestly, again speaking of my own personal taste, I'm not much for a lot of these modern gaming franchises. I never got into God of War, or Uncharted, or Call of Duty, or Halo, or etc. etc. etc. So if Wii U gets GTAV (which signs point that it probably will), then great. I'm not a GTA fan. It's getting Assasin's Creed and Watch Dogs and Splinter Cell. I'm not a fan of any of those franchises either. So it's great it's getting them, but I'm not personally worried about it.

Now if the Wii U eventually gets the inevitable next SINGLE player Elder Scrolls game (and so long as it's as good/hopefully better than Skyrim), then I'd be a happy camper. In fact I think Elder Scrolls on Wii U, with the GamePad, could be phenominal, so I hope it happens. And I certainly hope other major third party games, like Tekken x SF, also come to Wii U, because I'd like to get that.

But yeah, Wii U is enough for me this gen. PS1 and PS2 had more exclusives that actually appealed to me as a gamer. PS3 not nearly as much, and if trends continue, PS4 likely even less. I want to play The Last Guardian, as I like Team Ico's games. But I'm not going to buy an expensive secondary console just to play one game. So when the PS4 price drops, meaning in 2 or 3 years from now, and any OTHER exclusives crop up that are my cup of tea beyond TLG, then I think I might get one. But as of RIGHT NOW, Wii U will suit me just fine. Between Nintendo's franchises and all the indie games, that alone would keep me plenty happy. Any cool third party games (such as Lego City Undercover, The Wonderful 101, the new Sonic game, that rumored Sega/Nintendo racer, etc) are just icing on the cake.

so you are not getting a PS4 to spite PS fans? seems mature if you ask me

Actually, I think he's not getting a PS4 because PS fanboys disgust him, and he doesn't want to be associated with their kind by buying into the Playstation brand.

@ bolded 1

The WiiU exclusive games are 10x better then the PS3 first year exclusive games. The WiiU cost me $420 that half as much I invested into the PS3 at launch.

@bolded 2

That's the reason I'm not a Sony fanboy anymore.

I agree with you completely! Nintendo had never ever dissapointed me as a gamer, that's the reason I believe without 3rd parties support Nintendo 1st will fill in the void.

It´s alright man, you do what you fell like. If someday, down the road, you want to play LAST OF US 2, UNCHARTED 4 or SIREN NEXT GEN, you are very welcome back =D
