Ohhh, yeah that makes sense. I suppose however, a cheaper 360 is just trying to attract lower income people so it won't really affect the Nextbox's sales.

Well I definitely feel GT6 could have helped push some hardware as a PS4 launch title. I mean Sony's biggest game coinciding with Sony's new console launch... that's odd. The only thing that could be equal is Halo 5 coming this year on the 360.

This is could be good move by MS as long as its not a gimped console like the Wii Mini (which should never been released).  Just have to wait three more days to find out.

I highly doubt it.  If a 360 Slim and Kinect couldn't stop the PS3 from selling over 640K more than it in 2010, I doubt a 360 Slim(er) and price cut will have a better outcome.  Especially, since Sony will answer with a price cut of their own.  Possibly to $149, but most likely to $199.

Not seeing a drop to $99 without LIVE subscription plan, I feel like you guys are living in another reality here or something. I will eat my own socks if that were to actually happen. I say drop to $129.99 at lowest to $149.99 without LIVE sub, and then drop to $74.99 with sub.

Either way, it'll be interesting to see how this and the inevitable PS3 response drop will effect the Wii U even with its own price cut.
