Synopsis: In a not-so-distant future, human cops and androids partner up to protect and serve.  Karl Urban plays a human with robot parts, while Michael Ealy plays his android police partner with human tendancies.

If you loved Lost and Fringe then I'm sure you'll love this too.  It looks amazing from the trailer and I'm keeping my eye on it for sure.

Just saw this a couple hours ago. I'm looking forward to it. Have you seen the one for sleepy hollow? It really piqued my interest.

I didn't watch the whole trailer for Sleepy Hallow, but I'll check it out.  

I will probably change this into the official Almost Human thread when it starts in the fall even if it's just you and me who post in it. lol

so is this like a future CSI?

I'm sure there will be more people lol. It is a new futurustic show. Reminds me of robocop or something, maybe i-robot?

Wow that looks pretty fantastic. I have yet to see a bad TV show or film from JJ Abrams.

JJ Abrams is a busy man, he has like 5 different movies/TV shows going all at once at any given time not to mention partaking in his production company.

Not sure as of now since not many details are known, but it looks like it will be a mix of procedural like csi and have an overall story too.

Yeah, I don't see how he has the time for all his projects.  The only shows that he had something to do with that is not great but decent is Revolution(has a 2nd season) and Alcatraz(cancelled after 1st season).

Ya, quite frankly I'm not sure how much of a contribution he actually does give to tv shows with so much going on. His series are usually fantastic too except for maybe alcatraz.

they usually add an overall story to these types of shows like CSI and NCIS. but im not really interested in them. if they have one long story that is the center of the show like the walking dead, arrow or spartacus then i am interested. but these shows that have pretty much the same thing every episode like house for example, a sick guy comes in, they dont know how to treat him, they keep trying, house comes up with a solution and save him in the last minute. its pretty much the same thing every epsiode with no real story behind it. so i get bored of them quickly.
