I updated my COMG vs. Vita tables a bit. The second post now has an (unfinished) version listing in order of ratio:

Sen no Kiseki did very well compared to COMG so entered really high. Danganronpa should see a similar effect once the VGC numbers come in.

I don't know what you mean about ignoring anything. You asked how the game is different, and I listed about a dozen things that are completely different from the mobile version. There's even more information out there if you want to find it, like how dungeons now have multiple paths. You can be skeptical if you like, but you can't deny that the 3DS game is almost entirely different from the original. Attacks are still performed by essentially playing Bejeweled, but as I mentioned, a suitable analogy is like picking "Fight --> Flamethrower" in a Pokemon game.

You don't have to like it or be interested in it, but I've answered your question.

I said that the open world and dungeons could really be a game changer, but we don't know how fleshed out they will be. A hollow world would be no improvement.

I think it's the Original Model. They did release some special 3DS with the launch of the game, I guess this one is to bump the interest of the game before the holidays.  How close is this to the release of GE2?

It's original model, yeah. 2 Limited Edition MH4 3DSXLs debuted with game on 9/14. Now original model will receive bundle, too. One week before GE2.

So Sony launched the Vita Slim 2 days before Pokemon to move the hype, and Capcom and Nintendo are making a Monster Hunter  4 bundle to tone down the God Eater 2 hype.
