as for Windows 8 , I made a leap of faith and got it, after I formatted my windows 7 and that it doesn't work any more (its Acer W7 came with the old computer) , so I decided whats so bad about it? , and I got the Pro edition, let me tell you its confusing as hell, for an OS that brags about how easy it is to use, its really sadistic on how unmanaged it is, everything is all over the place, I think the thing that will "Save" it is if microsoft adds a "Start" button , I've used that way too much on W7 , I don't exactly know why they removed it, but its pretty dumb to go to that tile thing and then type what you are looking for instead of finding your most used apps INSIDE the desktop, another thing is that the Tile is kind of isolated from the Desktop and every "App" takes over the computer like a Tablet and "Multitasking" is a hassle as you have to drag the "App" on the right while using the other one, instead of you know... having different windows?

despite metro in a way being stupid for desktops i still like the interface clean look

however it has a bunch of quirks. odd enough the next update will add the start button back because nobody could find the stupid thing.

even printing an image is cumbersome. if you open up an image theres no print button on the page at all.
