I am probably going to avoid all the rumors and stuff until the actual reveal of the system. Seems pointless to worry about it when the reveal is coming up so soon.

You're mixing things up. On 4-10-13, Vgleaks said:

On 4-29-13, vgleaks reports polygons rumor about the video sharing, achievements etc... but then ends said report with:

"We want to stand out these points; we keep our word about the always online. Durango won’t need internet connection to run games or apps (Games & Apps that you can run without internet, obviously)."

They basically reiterated their 4-10-13 report (about always online not being a requirement) in the 4-29-13 polygon report. They even linked their original 4-10-13 report in that statement.

I ask again: Where did vgleaks mention extended achievements before Polygon?

They didn't. And I never said they did. The OP is about vgleaks reafirming their original article that debunked always online. It so happens that they did said reaffirmation while reporting on Polygons rumor.

Ok, there is no point in arguing at all :) 

Either way, it's good that this also on vgleaks and confirms MS' plans are not anti-consumer.
