I would like to point out that a large number of those games I either already have on other systems or could get on other systems. Take those away, remove the shovel ware, and we're not left with too much.

All console/handheld releases are filled with 80% shovelware. Every Year we are usually only left with 3-8 games that are considered "AAA" quality. For Vita this year that will be TearAway, Soul Sacrifice, Killzone: Mercenary, Ys, Gaucamelee, Sly 4. And just because something is available on console doesn't mean it isn't viable on handheld. It is an entirely different arena. There are many things I would never touch on console but would gladly play on the go. Part of the Vita's functionality is console quality on the go, with added benefit to those who have PS3/4 and Vita. Sly for instance has a really cool feature that takes advantage of that.

I would suggest take some time looking up these Vita titles(or stay tuned for when I update full info on them) to see that they have a lot more to offer than what meets the eye. In comparison to 3DS, Nintendo's lineup is only better because of brand recognition but it actually has less releases. The Vita's lineup is full of unknown devs/titles so they get overlooked yet just as much quality.

You shouldn't have. He obviously came into this thread just to say "vita has no games" no matter what. No use arguing with these people.

Out of those I'd only really be interested in Batman, Assassins Creed and Killzone. I would like a good JRPG but usually theyre childish crap.

I would have had FFX/2 for it but if its gonna be on PS3 I may aswell get it on that.

What JRPGs do you like?

I suggest Persona 4 Golden, the most profound RPG I have played in a while, and one of the most highly rated, sitting at a 9.3 on Metacritic. Which also makes it the most critically acclaimed JRPG this entire gen.

and Mind=0 comes to mind. Valhalla Knights, Ys. None of these are the wierd pedo like JRPGs if that is what you mean.

Not true - competition inspires innovation so I want Sony to succeed. I just came here to check what Vita had for 2013

Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.

Out of all these i would get Soul Sacrifice, Muramasa Rebirth, Ys, Killzone, Tearaway and FFX.

I might get some Lego games, Jak HD and FFX/2

Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

It's a shame the Lego games get held back by being straight 3DS ports. I really hope Warner start actually making Vita games and not just very fast 3DS ports in future. Maybe these new Lego games will start this? Though I doubt it. They could at least redo the video clips for Vita rather than porting across the 3DS resolution footage.

I've not got into the "indie revolution" before, so seeing them all coming to Vita is great for me. They seem a lot more at home on Vita than on PC/Mac and in the case of the likes of Guacamelee, you can play them on PS3 and is crossbuy, yet I've not even touched the PS3 ver. Vita is such a great platform for it.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Alright. My bad, it just sounded like the usual "vita has no games trololololo" every Vita thread gets and i'm sort of fed up with that.
I'm guessing by the wiiu in your signature you can sort of relate to that...

Anyway OT:

here ist wat i want from that list. I'm definitely getting:

-Soul Sacrifice
-Tearaway
-FF X HD (and probably X-2)
-Ys: celcetta

most likely day one for all of them.
I'm also getting invizimals but that might be further down the line (depending on price and my backlog).

Then there is some mabys that i'll have to see more of but i'm interested in.

-Kickbeat (if it's cheap enought)
-jacob jones and the bigfoot mystery (interested to see some gameplay of this one)
-Malicious (i've got it on the ps3 and liked it but i still don't know if this is a new game or a port)
-Open me (depends if my friend that also has a vita wants to play this with me, and price of course)
-Teraria (depending on price)

I'll most likely get Mind=0 if it gets localized since it seems very persana-y.
Also intrested in the new AC game (if exists) but the franchise has gotten a bit stale, so i'll have to see on that.
I'm not gonna buy RO Ace since i already have the original game but if they release the additional content as dlc i might get it.

Ok this has gotten quite long so i'll end it here.

But Persona was a PS2 game. And Vita is 8th gen anyways.

There is so much added between the two it is as if it is a new game. There are many who never played it on PS2(most actually) so the fact it was on that console is a null point. P4G deserves to be experienced. Meh, it is 8th Gen, but we are still in 7th for the time being.
