Where did you read that the only presentation they will be doing will be with the shareholders? I highly doubt that is true.

News must work majorly different in the US then, E3 does not get any media coverage at all here and the PS4 announcement only did because of the financial troubles Sony was in. Microsoft's Nextbox announcement was picked up by exactly zero bigger news magazines. In Germany it honestly makes no difference at all if they have a presentation on the E3 or not, since the only coverage will be by the gaming media.

Wait...the PS4 conference only did well because of the financial troubles Sony was in? Wait....thats just madness. Sony blew a lot of people away and people started buzzing about the PS4 plain and simple.

Iwata did not confirm that. He only confirmed "several smaller events that are specifically focussed on our software lineup for the U.S market". Adam Sessler is just being Adam Sessler.

You're confusing gaming websites with the rest of the world. As someone who only got into gaming at the age of 22 I can assure you that the rest of the world does not care about E3 and none of my friends know anything about the PS4.

That's not what I said. In GERMANY the PS4 press conference only got some MEDIA attention because of Sony's financial problems (having lost money with the PS3, company itself in trouble blabla). The mass media in Germany generally doesn't give a shit about video games, so it honestly won't make a difference in GERMANY how Nintendo or anyone decides to present their products since no one but the gaming websites and magazines will cover it anyways.

Mario Kart, 3D Mario, Smash Bros r confirmed to be shown off atE3, its not like the media is going to conpletely ignore those games just because theres no huge press conference to reveal them.
