well you don't play games FOR trophies (ideally).  You get trophies as an extra activity after completing the game.  At least that's how I handle them.  

Anyway if LEGO Lord of the Rings get patched I'll have that one by then for sure.  Then I'll probably get platinum on LoU since I platinumed all the Uncharteds.  Beyond most likely (PS4 could be out by then).  Puppeteer I'm not sure yet how hard (I don't go for platinum if it requires something impossible like the LBP ones or KZ 2 and 3).  Tomb Raider I won't platinum since one of them is for max MP rank and I'm not really interested in MP (never even play Uncharted just GoW).  Castlevania no if it's anything like the last one.  GTA5 no if it's anything like the last.  Budokai HD I'll probably get since I was planning on doing all the stuff on their list anyway.  KH HD depends on trophies.  Batman depends on if I get it, and if it'll be out by the time PS4 launches (most likely not or at least not early enough to platinum).

I have 39 right now and will most likely have 42 going by those games which is everything I plan on getting.  So unless plus gives me some other ones We're looking at 42-49 depending on the lists for Batman, KH, GTA, Castlevania, Puppeteer, LoU (if it has a max MP rank one then no), and Beyond.

The requirements are pretty brutal.

My backlog is huge enough as it is, I don't have time to waste with stupid side quests like "Collect these 100 feathers" or "Play this game on all five difficulties", thus I do not have any game in my collection Platinum'd^^

well difficulty ones stack and since I normally play on the hardest I get them all right away and they're normally the hardest.  What I hate is when a game like Uncharted says "beat the game on Crushing" and I go to play Crushing difficulty and it says "sorry you have to beat hard which is a little easier than crushing then you can play on crushing because we want you to play the game twice."  ND I enjoy your games and I will replay them many times (replay every Uncharted a couple times a year) but I just wanna get the hard part outta the way and prove to myself I can beat it at it's best.  I really don't get locking the hardest setting.  If I can beat it on crushing then I can beat it on hard.  

Anywho I didn't know KH had the trophy list posted.  I'm not even sure if I'm getting it.  I mean what type of games are they because now that I think of it I only saw one boss being played by my friend for 10 minutes about a decade ago lol.  Just thought it was a great game I should try.  I normally don't go for them if it sounds like too much of a hastle (Okami was ridiculous).

AFAIK the trophies don't stack. Have fun^^ (The games themselves are really good, getting Platin will be a bitch, though)

yeah I just saw that.  that's the first game I've ever seen where they don't stack it's really strange.  Oh well if I get bored I'll put 80 hours towards that.  Are they hard?

Some of them are hard, some of the are just time consuming. Beating the secret bosses is incredibly hard. Leveling to LVL 100 and completing all the side-quests is incredibly time consuming. Beating this game in under 15hrs probably will result in save point abuse, just as completing the game without using continue once (Has the PS3 the option to soft-reset a game? If not resetting the easily up to 20x times on some of the harder bosses will be nerve-wrecking). After reading through the list I'd say getting Platinum on KH1 HD might take 120-200 hours, depending on how good you are. Chain of Memories...really depends on how lucky you are with Munny and card drops.

yeah you know what I don't think that's for me lol.  Normally I get platinums on games that have 1 or 2 big collectibles and ask you to beat it on hard which I do anyway.  Then there are normally a couple "kill x amount of enemies with x attack"

Don't miss out on the games though, they are really good (at least Kingdom Hearts I is). Not getting Platinum on the HD remix collection truly is not a shame. Just ignore the Platinum trophy^^

like I said I don't play for platinum.  If a game's trophies look like they're not too much trouble or could be fun or challenging then I go for it.  If it requires me to be too meticulous or do something annoying or it will take too long then I never even make an attempt.  I'll be trying them out and I won't care like with half my games.  Hell the Walking Dead it was impossible to beat the game without getting platinum.

I'm on 1 atm, getting close to my Dungeon Hunter Plat and should have done Unit 13 by then too, so aiming for 3, then the PS4 will be my first non-handheld PlayStation console :)

Unfortunately planning to get it on PC ;p

I will get it on PS3 because I reveived the first two episodies free in Plus... so I need to finish it... nice to know the Platinum is easy.

Yeah PS Vita Platinum trophies count. They are added to your PSN profile and the sum of PS3 and PSV (soon PS4) trophies give your final PSN Level.

Just a think to guys that said the didn't go for Platinum... I'm that guy too but seems like I always did more than the Platinum requirements in the games I played... so get Platinum is just in the way of me to beat a game... now I'm used to get Platinums.

A example... in a RPG game I always go for max level, max stats, all items, all equips, etc... so even for PS1 I have a FF7 save that my three main character have all the same mastered Meterias (all magic, all sumons, all commans, all efects) plus all the stats are 255 (max)... I spent over 200 hours to do that just stealing up items (for 255 max stats for all).

Mario 64 100%... StarFox 64 all paths and 100% on the hardest difficult... Goldeneye 007 all the time trials finished in the hardest difficult.... in the fighting games I always go for all trials or combos. Metroid and Donkey Kong for SNES... same.

All games I ever played I go for 100% with every item and stuffs.

So the Platinum required less than what I do in the games... so the Platinum is some king easy lol... just some abominations trophies not related to anything I didn't get.

I'm a Platinum hunter decades before Sony created the Trophy System.

I have 46 Platinums, and am currently working on my 47th Plat.

To me a Plat is a completed game, also it adds replayability to the game, essentially trophies are no different from in game achievements, except that they add to the meta game where you level up like an RPG and usually this is like a challenge between friends. Keep in mind that having more Plats doesn't mean you have the highest level cuz a friend may be a higher level with Zero Plats only because they've played more games and gotten the most basic trophies. So there's always that tit for tat moment.

yeah I'm hoping there's no max level one in LoU MP.  They've been tame with the Uncharted ones despite it having MP let's just hope the hardest difficulty is available from the start this time unlike Uncharted.
