Forums - Gaming Discussion - It is Time to Decide: iPhone 5 or Wait the iPhone 5S (Buy a Vita Instead)? iPhone 5S is Finally Mine!!!

Tagged games:

If the 5S is only 3 months away (I'm not convinced), I doubt it would be dramatically better than the 5. There's little room to improve screen quality, SoC performance, network performance. You'd likely only see a few refinements here or there, maybe a better camera or better battery efficiency.

I say get the new phone today.

The iphone 5s will probably be out September this year so if you can wait that long, I have the 5 and the diffrence between the 5 and 5s will be so small (probably a camera update and use the a7 chip) as for the vita I would recommend getting one of those too as it is awesome

Get a windows phone or a new sony/samsung. Their is no reason to buy an Iphone execpt for the brand name,

I have a iPhone and it is not only brand name

So what is it for? The OS is now second rate along with the hardware and features. Window phones are snappy as hell, Sony have a great camera, and Samsung..well, they're just Samsung - making the best screens and cramming PC's into phones.

The issue with the others are not the hardware... it is the OS... Windows Phone is a little imature yet (maybe my next phone) and Android is Android... I mean buggy like a hell I don't what a phone that restart every day.

PS. I already tried the Galaxy S3 and the OS is so bad that I can't even start to list the things... so I don't need advices about Andorid phones.

Alright if for some crazy reason Android is out the window, may I recommend the window itself? Windows phones are even better than iOS.

Yeah buy the Vita and get iPhone later. The screen on the next iPhone is supposed to be much bigger, which is just one reason to wait.

I would get the iphone 5, repair the iphone 4 screen, sell the iphone 4, and with the money for the iphone 4 get a vita.. Resale value of an iphone is pretty high

True, android can be buggy, but Windows is pretty solid. I've 2 friends who use it and to be honest, I'm sold on it. It never crashes, and although lacks 3rd party apps, it has a vast amount of 1st party apps which they simply forgot to mention and tell everyone about *facepalm*

I would just say wait for the iphone 5S seems like a waste to settle for the 5 since it is only a few months away.
