Very true. I am ambiguous about this. As a former PC gamer I know how much I enjoy the improved graphics and modding, but I also remember how often I just abandoned games because I got lazy, lost interest and moved on to the "next new thing". With consoles and Trophies I get a stronger feeling of challenge, meaning and purpose (albeit artificial) to explore and truly experience a game in my hunt for trophies, which to me has brought stronger satisfaction.
