The Last Of Us will do 1 million, Week 1. Mark it.

WorldWide, probably, hopefully.

USA no chance. It's tracking what 20% better then Uncharted 3? That game sold just under 500k week 1, during the holiday season.

It could come very close (within 50K) if everything goes well, however I bet it won't achieve 1 million week 1, people are being too optimistic/expecting too much from the game. Week 1 sales will be something like this: SCEA: 450-500k, SCEE: 300-350k, SCEJ: 50-100K. So in my opinion, 800-950K week 1 is a realistic prediction and still a very impressive opening even if it can't do 1m in 1 week. Hopefully you're right and it does become the 5th member of the PS3 exclusives that sold 1m+ week 1 club; GT5 (2.35m), MGS4 (1.85m), GoW3 (1.40m), UC3 (1.35m). As for my prediction, I'll stick with 875,000k Week 1.

Well, I up your prediction 500,000 for a total of 1,375,000.  Yeah it's correct, I have seen the future. :-p

But, I don't really know what it will do.  To me it seems like it has more hype than Uncharted 2 or 3, which doesn't equal more sales, but is a good indicator.  The range I think it will sell is anywhere from 900,000 to 1.4 million.  1.4 being really really optimistic.  When it gets closer to launch I'll pinpoint an actual number.

The Injustice pre-orders seem really really off. The 360 version has double the pre-orders as the PS3 version? Yeah that doesn't make sense for a fighting game.

Cant trust those numbers anymore... But lets do sum math.

Soul Sacrifice with 21k preorders, +3.5k this week(60% up from last wiak). If next week it get +30% preorders, will be 4.5k three weeks until releas. And another +30% twu weeks until release, 5.9k, and +40% on last wek, 8.2k for last wek until relese. We ould get da gran totale of 39,6k preorders.

If dose preorders numbers are right, Soul Sacrifice will get a higher first week than Monster Hunter Ultimate on Wii U and probably higher then 3DS version too, dat would be very good for dat gmae style on west and a new IP.

What's wrong with that? That would mean that week 1 sales could be anywhere from 60-80k, which is a bit less then Japan.

Soul Sacrifice is a new IP published by Sony, and the first good Japanese game on the PSV which isn't a port.

Monster Hunter Ultimate is a remake of a 2 year old game, which is releasing on two platforms to people who probably own the original Monster Hunter 3 game.

P.S. I fixed Naughty Dog 2, there is no such game. There was a PSN/LXB sequel which released last year though.

P.P.S. YAY Tales of Xillia tracked! I hope it stays, Battlefield 4 for PS3 will track next week, but Naughty Dog 2 is out.

Whats wrong with what?
Monster Hunter Ultimate isnt a remake, just some kind of "expansion" of Monster Hunter Tri. Im saying that is pretty impressive that SS surpass it cuz we in west didnt got a Monster Hunter game since 2010. Three damn years, we waited for Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, they didnt brought. We waited since 2011 for Monster Hunter 3G and we will get it 2 years after its release in Japan, even with Monster Hunter 4 announced. I wonder when or if they will release MH 4 here. 2015, maybe?

Whats wrong with VGC pre-order numbers? You don't trust them.

Have you played Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate? It's still MH3, LOL. It's a remake and expansion, no different from FFIV for PSP.

Plus like you said, MH3 Ultimate released in Japan years ago. We're getting SS only 3 months later. That can make a huge difference.

Thats not "me". Just compare the preorders numbers with 1st week numbers of some games... seems weird, a lot of people noticed that. Also, there are some games that the database is messed, like LittleBigPlanet Vita, wich dont have 1st week numbers on USA, despite having sum preorders and FIFA 13, USA numbers were added on FIFA Soccer, the first FIFA game released on Vita. And a lot more.

I still think that there are some diferences betwen a expansion and a remake. But thats not the point here, im just saying that 3 years of wait for a Monster Hunter game here, i just thought that game would sell even more.

Yea, VGC hasn't.....really been accurate lately. A lot of games are mislabeled in the database (I can't change their names, I've tried), games are missing, and numbers for some games (like God of War 3) are way off.

I dunno what's been going on with VGC lately, if ioi can't keep the website updated, someone else will come in and make an alternative. In Japan they have both Media Create and Famitsu.

As for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, I understand why it didn't do well for Wii U, most Wii U owners probably have Monster Hunter 3, and there aren't that many Wii U's sold yet. However I am surprised it's not doing that well on 3DS. I feel MH4 will do better because it's not a remake/expansion, but a new entry.

I totally understand you, i agree and i hope everything get back to normal! And i thought that the game would do a lot better on 3DS. And i hope they dont make us wait another 2 years to get Monster Hunter 4!
