Forums - Gaming Discussion - How Microsoft's ignorance and Nintendo's console put Sony in first place for next-gen success

A biased article from a biased website is biased. Also should be in the Sony section, but hey what do I know. Also love how the thread title is made to look like this already happened and not something that could happen.

EDIT: O yeah lets not forget cherry picking words and highliting them.

Around the Network

1.Have they confirmed it's always online?

2. Have they confirmed a new Xbox?

Without order nothing can exist - without chaos nothing can evolve.

"I don't debate, I just give you that work"- Ji99saw

I'll reserve judgement on the next xbox until after Microsoft shows it

I think Microsoft planned these rumors. Always Online is just a publicity stunt to get more people to watch the event and know about the NextXbox!!

And them not confirming or denying it, proves my theory. Especially at this point when every major website is talking about it.

Just as the same article said, "this exciting future is not real until it happens"... Sony has a lot of time to mess things up. And this article assumes Nintendo and the Wii U won't recover at all by the time the PS4 launches. It's assuming lots of things, actually.

Around the Network

it all depends how it will be when nextbox will release, that stuff right now is something only some crazy guys like us read but not many of the "real world" will really care about about this guy talking crap.

i'm not even sure if it will really affect the sales a lot if the console will really need a connection even for singleplayer. i know that i have some problems from time to time but only for few seconds (you saw that when we played borderlands 2 together) but other people in know in real life don't have those problems and they are already always online with their console or pc.

then we have those who don't connect the console to the internet, they would obviously lose those customers or at least some of them. would be good to know how many that are.

Why should this be in the Sony section? This is about all of the big 3.

And how about actually reading the article first?

Because it comes from a website called PlayStation Universe, so their is no objective thinking in this article. The author uses the word Xbots. Give me a break dude. I read the article and you bolded every word and phrase that bashes Nintendo and Microsoft. So this is a troll article from a Playstation website/blog that not only did you post in the gaming section, but made sure to bold all the negative words/phrases. Lets not forget that the author and your thread title implys that all these things are happening when

1. There is no evidence

2.  The PS4 nor 720 have been released

3. We don't have full details on either console yet

I love how people are just already assuming rumors are completely true.

If that would be the case, what reason would they have to take such a perverse approach?

Disappoint people before, so they feel relieved in the end when they finally reveal their console console and people finally know it doesn't suck like they first thought? Because... They don't have enough to differentiate themselves from the competition?

I don't really buy it.

A certain section of people are getting way ahead of themselves at the moment aren't they. It's like the start of the current gen alllllll over again.

Wait and see. There could be some serious amounts of back tracking going on soon.

Exactly. I guess that certain group just likes the taste of crow or something.
