Forums - Gaming Discussion - The Sega Genesis appreciation thread.

So why am I, Stof, a man who never owned a Genesis making the Genesis appreciation thread? Because I just noticed how sad it is that only 6 Genesis games have over 20 votes in the database.

Come on People! This is the system of the blue blur! And at a time when he didn't stink like goat cheese. I did spend much time at my friend's playing Sonic. Good times. And I got Ecco the Dolphin on VC and it's a great game.

Get out there and vote/own/comment on some Sega games, and tell your tales of fun, excitement and Mortal Kombat blood here.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

I thank Sega Genesis for being there for me when I had absolutely no taste in games. I just played anything on it whether it was gold or shit and when I lost because the controls were crap and the game was horribly hard, I still had fun so...thanks?

I have a soft spot for Vector Man. That Xbox sequel probably would have sucked, but I was stil disapponted when it was canceled.

hmmm... This is a good idea. Maybe tomorrow I'll write an editorial on why everyone who doesn't worship at the alter of Genesis is a Paganist Ball-licker who almost surely eats baby brain soup in their free time.

Or something along those lines.

I was surprised that game didn't make the top 50.

Eh, people have no taste!

I'm embarrassed to say that while I owned a Genesis as a kid it was dedicated almost solely to playing Sonic the Hedgehog games. It's still one of my favorite consoles of all time.

CIHYFS?

well, it was a worthy oponent in the system wars...good times.
