Luigi's Mansion 2 really did open up quite nicely. I'm not surprised that there wasn't much of a HardWare increase. I don't think this is the type of game that would make most people buy the 3DS straight out. Most people who wanted the game probably already had the 3DS.
The Vita held quite nicely. I wonder when it's big drop is going to be.

"Literally nothing" is of course, not true. You hit the nail on the head with some of your later posts in that there is stuff coming; but it's niche. Photo Kano (April) & Valhalla Knights (May) should sell alright if the previous instalments are anything to go by. They should at least see a software boost because they are releasing in a dry period. I believe June should be the best month because I think a Hyperdimension Idol game will appeal to a few Otakus and shift a bit of hardware. Gundam Breaker is rumored to be releasing that month too, so we'll see. The rush of software will be heading into the holiday season for Vita, but I think a lot of the people in this thread are right - the next few months will be testing to see where the new baseline is. At least the software that has been releasing so far has kept us from seeing it longer than a lot of people thought it would ("Next week it will plummet" "Okay, NEXT week it will plummet" etc.) |
At some time the Vita has to "fall", Kresnik. This price-cut boost won't happen forever.

My bad, didn't know I was ninja'd.
A change of 10% is flat? And lol at some comments, people should really stop asuming prejudices from the posters. Serisously, turkish accusing kowenicki of not being sensible, ..... XD |
I'm not acusing anyone, just an observation. Atleast I don't sound like a broken record week after week pretending WiiU is gonna die the next week.

You'll find BaldrSkies is usually right about most Japan info.
I'm willing to say that Luigis Mansion had at least 100k digital sales.

So games like Muramasa, Valhalla Knights and photokano which sold around 25-30k frist week and a few 100k life time with much larger install bases are suddenly going to be massive sellers on the Vita, I don't think so.

I said the significance is relative to each system. Of course a system with 10 million units sold will have a far better chance of pushing more software sales than one with 1 million. If it was a straight comparison, nearly everything on Vita and everything on Wii U would be "minor" or "dead".

But if you're comparing Vita software to 3DS software, why would you make it "relative to the system"? Otherwise you wind up with Muramasa under the same "large" heading as Tomodachi, which...... yeah.
I'm not sure why you want to compare software sales volume across two platforms with completely different install bases, anyway. It's clear that the 3DS comes out on top with sales know matter how you look at it. Vita has some nice games coming -- I think most people are curious about its summer-and-beyond lineup. 3DS already has quite a few games confirmed for the second half of the year. No hurry of course, but we'll see when we get there what Vita has.

Your history shows you clearly don't like the vita and love the 3DS, so there is no point talking anymore about this.
I can see right through you.
