It is funny that this analyst says that the reason Tomb Raider doesn't sell enough because it lacks multiplayer when a research by EEDAR says that % of games with multiplayer have gone down during this gen.
And 100 millions? I hope that, if true, it includes marketing and other costs not directly involved with the development.
Please excuse my bad English.
Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070
Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.
10 millions?????
It will be lucky to do even 3. Those SquareEnix douchebags are hilarious. But they earned it with their idiotic western focus, looking down on fans and not releasing any decent Japanese game.
Idiots. They're also spending 120 million on XIII Versus.....
JUST LET SQUARE GO ENIX AND DIE!
100 Million? Crazy.
Lets hope they can turn things around now that parasite has gone.
At bomba bin price, yes. At full price? definitely not.
I apologize in advance for my bad english.
Yikes. Why are game developers making their games more and more expensive? You'd think considering the amount of game developers closing down, they would be more smart about their budgets. Something tells me, that in the 8th generation, we will see more developers go out of business cause gaming budgets are becoming bigger as games become more larger and complex.
This will not happen. Even Uncharted couldn't make 8 million sales. How comes Tomb Raider?
its quite funny, to make money all the need to do is a graphical remake of final fantasy, 7 or 8 maybe 6 and they would make money back, the script already written strory line is made..would be easier than making a new game
If this is the new level for AAA games going forward then this industry is really dead.
