first of all, it's not sand, it's stardust.
Second clue is that the grass is trimmed. Could be soccer.
Third clue is the little swirling particles. Those typically represent magic, or souls.
Fourth clue is the cracke texture. Definitely a rock, not a ball, or egg.
Fifth clue is the scene taking place at night.

So it's a circular rock made from stardust in a magic field at night. Short grass is a manmade thing, so it's likely in a city.

Now does anything sound familiar there?
Magic, urban, stars, nighttime, stone, circle/orb/ball/relic.
