YESS!! Wii U is saved. Who'd have thought it would be due to a port of a year old average 3DS game that is also available on 360/PS3. Talk about tipping the scale. Wii U 20 million consoles sold this year confirmed?

I have to take issue with this. Average is the last word I'd use to describe Revelations. It's a gorgeous game with perfect pacing, outstanding mechanics, and a healthy balance of action and horror. To me it's the best 3DS game out there, and the second best RE game after Resident Evil 4.

The things is that this game focuses only on mercenaries and RE4's mercenaries was better executed and that was only a small percentage of the game. So based of not only industry standard but the RE franchise standard (peaking with RE4) this game is not as good and doesn't move forward compared to a game that was released on the GCN. I've put hundreds of hours into the GCN, PS2, Wii and 360 versions of the game and played not as much but quite a little bit on Revelations. In comparison it is not as good, therefore (imo) rendered average. It would have been incredible 10 years ago but...

Edit - I will still probably end up buying it on the 360 or PS3 (YAY extra $10) and will have every achievement on it like I do with RE4, because I achievement hooer.

Makes sense. Young Userbases often clamour for any game they can get... RE:R looks like it'll be best on Wii U.

With all releases of the last few months and the ones ahead, I'd say the last thing a ps3/360 owners's mind is RE:Revelations... Its more download title, right?

A lot of those pre-orders are probably RE4 Wii Edition owners, who will be mighty pissed off when they get the game and realise that it doesn't support Wiimote aiming.

Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed

240k=X360
200k=PS3
190k=WiiU
(only game that Wii U doing good against in Multiplat area)

The Wii U version is undertracked.  According to Wii U Daily it has sold around 260,000.  I'm not saying it has sold the most out of the three but I wanted to at least update one of the numbers.  Source: http://wiiudaily.com/2013/02/sonic-racing-sales-stats/

OT:  Whether it's on Amazon, according to rank, or not, it's still a good sign that the preorders for this game on the Wii U is doing well.  I really want a Wii U myself but I just can't afford it right now .

this is kind of good news. RE R it is going to be the first game I own in both Home and hand console... I will not get Monster Hunter for 3DS only Wii U!

Or maybe ANimal crossing Wii and ds was kind of the same?

Your using Amazon charts to estimate real world sales.....

And this thread is serious?

Well, we are also using Pachter quotes to predict future console success. Can't get any worse when you are already riding full retard.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

I don't think this game is the game you are thinking of. Revelations absolutely does not focus on Mercenaries....and in fact doesn't even have that mode from what I understand.

But this cannot be, because you see the Wii U is for teh casuals.

Nah, that's too outdated... I'll try again:

Sweet! As stated many times. March is the month of Nintendo. Starting to look like it more and more.

Lol :D March 2013 is officially the month of Vita. Can't see anything special in March for Nintendo, it's actually a very bleak month fot them. PS3 is ahead of 3DS and Vita is ahead of 3DS in Japan for the second consecutive week.

I consider it hilarious that you guys have to comfort yourself with preorder scores. I mean, even we, the Vita cult, have never been so desperate. Wait until the game gets released and if it sell more, then we'll have something to talk about. Though the lower price tag kinda distorts the balance here.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

Maybe it's just you, but I've seen a LOT worse from you guys. (There are still some of you that think Vita will outsell 3DS.)
