My vote goes to the Note 3 which should be out around September.

It will blow all of the above phones away just like the Note 2 did when it was released.

If Gallaxy S4 is the best phone of the bunch, i could see this being the case.

However if HTC One outclasses it in design, build quality, screen qualty and camera (much like HTC One X did last year arguably), I don't see how Note 3 will be better than that.

Samsung Gallaxy S4 +  1/2 an inch strech in screen diagonal + stylus = Note 3

I will take expandable memory and removable battery over a shiny case any day of the week.

S4 hands down if the retinal scrolling rumor is true.

Updated with S4 and specs.

I personally think you'd have to be crazy to pick the S4 over Xperia Z and HTC One, but that's just my own opinion.

HTC One seems to be the only device with Snapdragon 600 so it should be noticeably faster than S4 or Xperia Z.

Im pretty sure the Galaxy S4 will be the best Smartphone in general on the market.
Voted for it - Samsung is doing a great job.

other: Nexus 5 in fall.

OS without any skin >>>>>>>>>>>>>> any other feature.

Here is an interesting read.

http://www.theverge.com/2013/3/14/4105448/how-samsung-copies-apple-by-copying-itself

It will sell crapload cause people dont know better and Samsung kills it on marketing. I can already see it...Samsung commercial in heavy rotation where phone is being creepy and follows your eyes as you read, and people will flock asking for the Galaxy. First thing people will do when they get the phone is disable that feature when they realize how useless it is and how much battery drain it causes.

On design and features side Samsung S4 is the worst. HTC One runs circles around it on performance and design.  Not to mention that Samsungs touchwiz is the worst Android skin of them all.

So yeah, I really don't see Samsung doing great with this phone at all.

Sony skin is pretty light from what I hear. Barely notice its there... But updates are not guranteed so yeah, nexus may be wise.

Looking upon this thread after S4 has been unveiled... it seems Samsung wins hands down on software and specs, and Sony wins on design

Xperia Z is absolutely beautiful. I like the industrial design and build quality Sony tends to give to their smartphones, unlike the soapbar design Samsung normally uses combined with an apparent cheap build quality, if it had an AMOLED screen, it would certainly be #1 in my list. HTC One looks great too, though, but, unfortunately, also comes with an LCD screen.

I don't think S4 wins on specs or software to be honest. Processor in the HTC is about 40% faster as is the Sense Android Skin. Samsungs TouchWiz is regarded as the worst Android skin out there.

Nor does it win on design. Both HTC and Sony have beautiful unibody design.

It wins on some features like replacable battery, wireless charging and possibly camera. HTC One has an amazing low light camera so S4 has to impress on the camera front.
