Forums - Sony Discussion - Sony just added WHO!??!

Sony just revised their EU list, losing mojang (minecraft) and Rovio (angry birds) among others who've said they were interested, but just not specifically making anything at the moment for ps4.

INSTEAD, we've got a new list, which according to Sony was the true list, while the previous one was an older erroneous one.

We've got:
Creative Assembly- owned by Sega, makers of the Total war series and proud new owners of the Warhammer franchise. Released spartan total war on consoles. Experience making games for consoles, and owners of some amazing ips.
Avalanche Studios- Creators of the insanely popular Just Cause series.
Blitz Studios- originally an xbox1 dev, made also xbox games for burger king. Expect new crappy ps4 merchandising by fast food companies!
Bohemia Interactive- Makers of the popular pc games Arma and DayZ
CD Projekt RED- Makers of Witcher, another popular PC dev
Just Add Water- Makers of Oddworld
Deep Silver - Co-published Catherine, publishing killer is dead (grasshopper interactive), worked on dead island, saints row, metro:last light, S.t.a.l.k.e.r., and a couple warhammer games
Lucid Games - Project Gotham Racing, Blur, Geometry Wars
Mercury Steam- castlevania lords of shadow, Jericho, Scrapland
Ninja Theory - New devil may cry, heavenly sword
Nixxes - Tomb Raider series
Paradox interactive - Europa Universalis, Mount and Blade
Rebellion developments -Sniper Elite
Saber Interactive - Halo, Inversion
IO interactive - Hitman
Starbreeze - Payday, syndicate
Team17 - Worms
2k games - Pirates!, Civ, Bioshock, Borderlands, SpecOps the line,
Zen studios - pinball games
Splash Damage - Brink, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars
Stainless Games - Magic the gathering
Sumo Digital - Sonic games, deadspace
Codemasters- Lord of the rings online, various
TT Games - Lego Franchise

Curiously, none of the previous EU developers on the list are on the revised list. Here is the original:

Feel free to contribute what these lost devs have developed.

Not only that, but ps4 could get a warhammer:total war game, now that they own the rights to it.

That would be my game of the year, all years.

funny how it's always true.

Creative Assembly, whut? That's absolutely awesome. I would be all over Total War PS4 like a rash.

Glad to see Ninja Theory added as well. I know they have trouble getting the sales figures, but I still think they're an incredible team. Someone should've spotted that mistake earlier, really. They had a guy from Ninja Theory talking in that video about PS4; yet they were left off the developers list. Lol.

Kinda sad to see Criterion & Kalypso didn't make the new list. I'd love Tropico 5 for PS4. However, whatever Criterion's next game is, I would bet money that it'll be on PS4. So I wouldn't worry too much.

And apparently 505 games are not in the new list but are definitely working on PS4, so that's good. They published Wild ARMs 4 & 5 in Europe, so I tip my hat to them.

Yeah, the fact is the list was revised for many reasons, some big ones being 'to avoid early announcements' and 'titles not yet in development'. I think it's very likely we'll see those devs back on the list in no time.

Lol, quite the trade.

And although I love Creative Assembly's games... RTS without KB+M is just not on. Sorry, consoles.
