Forums - Gaming Discussion - Analyst: "PS4 announcement made Wii U look like a premature ejaculation."

At the end it says "Now that's Hardcore!" but I have to disagree. The entire thread is double entendres and not even able to be called softcore. Not even Beverly Lynne or Shannon Tweed are going to show up.

That is funny, but in my mind it is kinda true, the PS4 destroyed all desiree I had for the WIIU.

That's funny as the Sony announcement destroyed pretty much any desire I had of getting a PS4. They're really not bringing anything new to the table but better graphics.... My PS3/Xbox 360/Wii U already have great graphics, why would I want to re-invest into the PS4? My PS3 games wont play on it, my PSN can't be transferred over to it, my PS3 controllers can't be used. I'd have to start all over again.  New system $400-$450, 3 extra controllers (even though I have 4 PS3 controllers) $150+, a few games to get started $180+...I'd have to spend $730 + tax minimal just to get started.  The PS3/360 were worth it as they brought us into the HD era which was a much bigger jump than what I'm seeing so far from the PS4.  Now we need something more.
This will the first system since the NES that I don't buy at launch.

Stop hating and start playing.

killzone is always 30fps, its probably targeted before the first piece of code is put down,kz 2/3 was very stable.., what you seen is most likely a very early first gen launch game probably built around 4GB of ram and probably a decent amount of optimizing to go on im guessing a new engine. alrady putting to shame the wiiu. i imagine after seeing this, the wiiu sales will already sink to a near vita level(it almost already is),and i imagine a lot of upset ppl will return their mariostation ..in the future,i see the vita picking up huge steam after they showed the interaction it has with this ps4,especially after they seen it interact with the ps4 better than the nintendo controller interacts with the mariostation...its already game over imo

The Wii U is only selling bad at THIS moment because there are no new/good games released last few months. People who own a Wii U now bought it for the launch games and I have to say that achieving 75% (3 million) of the sells of Vita in which Vita did over a year (4 million) is pretty good.

That you imagine Wii U being sold bad doesn't mean crap...lol.  You think people will buy a 300 dollar 'controller/handheld' with no games to play only a few off-TV games on PS4 with a choppy framerate like this? ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWfjdk8LiL0 ). Wii U does Gamepad gameplay with every game. Vita doesn't offer anything more interesting than Wii U, especially not for that price (Vita+PS4 = ?????????????? dollar).

If you mean with Mariostation the systems that plays Mario Galaxy (highest rated game ever, go see Gamerankings), Zelda, Yoshi, Metroid, Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, Pikmin 3, Bayonetta 2, W101, Monster Hunter, Dragon Quest, X from Monolith Soft,, then I don't care how its called. Those are incredible games.

What I mean with Samestation 4, shooter, another shooter, that shooter, third person shooter, another movie-wannabe, bad Nintendo ripped ideas... now only with better graphics and no new ways to play at all!

How old are you? I am 31 and, althought I had a NES and SNES, the first video game I BOUGHT was a PSONE, the previous ones were gifts from my parents...

Also, if the extra power don´t seduce you, keep away from the PS4 man, just be happy. I, for one, am very excited about it.

An analysis worthy of NTH. One of the best I've read.
