Forums - Website Topics - Can you still add/rate games to collection??

So, under my profile I noticed that the game collection was still there from like 2008 when I first added games. I tried to update it, by deleting the games I no longer own. Then I went to search for the games I do own in hopes of being able to add/rate them for the game collection. Can you not do this anymore? Was it switched to that Gamewise thing (that I still have no clue how to use being that it's very user unfriendly)

Pls halp?

Go to your Profile --> Click the Games Tab in your Profile --> Where you see 3 tabs "My games - Tracked - Wishlist" , to the right of it is a box where you can type in the name of the game and its labled as "Add game".

I can't seem to add Assasin's Creed 1 to my games collection, it just doesn't appear when I search and instead shows only the other AC games.

Couldn't even add Assassin's Creed 3. Very annoying.

All recent* games are kinda hard to add. Same with older games.

You can't add older games because they don't appear in the search tab. And as for newer games, they don't have box arts and you won't be able to place them under your collection specifically.

I gave Game wise I try. Never again.

I'm kinda disappointed that this system is like this currently. I don't really like that it's a tactic to get us to use Gamewise. I don't really have any interest in that at all. I can't add a whole bunch of new games to my collection.

Gamewise just isn't a good site, plain and simple.

Found that out yesterday when I was trying to add Final Fantasy VI and several other games.  I was sure I was missing something obvious.  At least now I know I wasn't being brainless.

It seems like the database of games accessed by the search bar in your profile has been separated from the database maintained by users/staff, so all games that weren't released as of the split are either only able to be tracked or added to your wishlist, or aren't in the database at all.
