Well I can't wait for TPHD. I doubt they will do much for 30th though. What did they do for Mario?

Super Mario Maker and the special Amiibos were basically what they did to celebrate that

It probably would have, but I think the timing was great

First official Mario creator level for the 30th anniversary is really neat, after making soo many Mario games

I can't think of anything else, so yes, TP HD and Zelda U is probably it. Would love to have a bonus soundtrack though!

Yeah I'm thinking they'll pin the 30th anniversary on TPHD. Won't be anything like 5 years ago.

Doesn't need to be either really, "25" is more special than "30", and these events also lose their impact if they celebrate every time. Just have a big blow-out when the series turns 50!

Voted "Zelda Maker" though. Would be a dream, but I realize it's probably unrealistic for something like it to ever happen.

Zelda U could actually be bigger then even XCX as it's apparently the biggest open game world the system can handle.

"A huge, seamlessly unfolding world is something that can't be achieved if the hardware isn't advanced enough (...) "What's changed now is that the hardware has progressed to the point that you can now explore this vast world seamlessly; the underpinning of the game hasn't changed,"

Now we can put to rest the myth that Nintendo does not need powerful consoles.

The new Zelda is expected out sometime in 2015.

Well...

Didn't find the quote where Aonuma says it will be as big as the system can handle. Anyway, it doesn't mean it will be as big as X because it depends on how much is happening the world.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

So I decided to record one of my favorite Zelda songs as a homage to my favorite series birthday. s2

It's a custom version (and it's not perfect as well, I'll record a better version and uplaoad it later). I played it on my digital piano, so I've managed to change from strings to concert piano during the middle of the song (it was quite hard doing that xD). Also sorry for the bad quality, recorded it with my phone. Anyway, I hope you like it, fellow Zelda fans.

Tip: turn on Soundcloud's volume (it's pretty low), otherwise you'll probably won't hear it very clearly.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Digital version of TPHD costs $50:

Zelda TP HD is available again in Amazon, just received the alert earlier this morning. The problem is I know it since last night and already pre-ordered it. Now just waiting for Fire Emblem Fates special edition.

Don't know a lot of info on the TP HD amiibo, what are the things it could unlock?

Okay so I wasn't on the site for about a week because I didn't get around to it, but I have got to say this. Or, I got to vent, if you will.

I more or less beat Triforce Heroes now, at the final boss, and I have to say; this is a terrible, terrible game. Not just for a Zelda game, no, I wished, but terrible even in general. If the Zelda name wasn't attached to this, I would have stopped playing a long time ago.

First there's the multiplayer, I already said this is a mismatch from the start and an experiment that should have ended with Four Swords, but whatever, it isn't fun in this game either. I already anticipated that though, because more often than not in any multiplayer game; people are stupid. Stupid or untrustworthy, unless they're your friends and in your living room.

There's two ways to play, the main game or the 'Collisseum' mode which is just a 1v1v1 battle. This is pointless and to win you only have to run around dodging everybody. Because they'll make mistakes and fall, you win. At least you get materials, but fun?

Anyway, I've mostly been playing the single player mode, which is borderline unplayable. I mean, if you're going to half-ass it as much as this than the game would have been better off just omitting the single-player mode altogether. This game has serious balancing issues, and some parts are realistically impossible without some cheap trick or twitch-switching between your characters. You might say there's a certain strategy involved and you need to put your Links in the correct spot in anticipation, but really it's just bad game design. Then your uncontrolled Links get damaged by things outside of your control and it's Game Over.

Sure, in single-player it's a hard game for a change which is a good thing on the surface. But it's hard for the wrong reasons, unlike how the original, Zelda II or even Oracle of Seasons are hard, this game is hard only because it's frustratingly broken.

It is an unnecessary addition to the series, made worse by the fact that it's advertised by name and placement in the timeline as being a canon part of the main series, and it's a serious mark on the reputation of the franchise. At the moment I'm contemplating whether or not this is the worst game in the series.

But I digress.

My rant ends here. Now proceed with praising the other Zelda games again. I for one won't play Triforce Heroes, once I beat the final boss, ever again.
