They update the rosters and make gameplay tweaks. If people like something, they will keep buying it. That goes for Call of Duty and others also.

Well... It's the 2012 sales charts. So it explain's why there are 2 PES and some old games in the list. Some games that had good sales didn't appear in the list (like Assassin's Creed 3, Far Cry 3 and Halo 4 because they were launched here in the end of the year. So COD must have sold pretty well in Brazil). PES and Ubisoft games are also very strong here.
I lived in Brazil till I was 16. Everywhere you go, there's always a small soccer field just around the corner. We use to have a "pelada" after school nearly everyday.

Actually there isn't a single Racing game in all Three lists. Racing is not so popular around here anymore.
PES keep selling because of the strong impression left by Winning Eleven back in the PS2 era.

not really.
XBOX > Wii >> PS3
Wow they like their Kinect games! Pretty sad to not even see Halo 4 on that list considering it's one of the best games from 2012.
Didn't Microsoft open a factory to make Xbox 360's in Brazil? Would that help with the high taxes (assuming they are import taxes.)
I wonder if is producing them yet.
Also, I have no interest in USA Football or Non USA Football (Soccer) but playing the game in Kinect Sports with my family was actually quite fun.
