I kinda wanted the PS4 to launch around nover 16 like the ps3 did so it would be a better comparison matching the sales of ps3 and ps4 together

if it launches earlier, the sales wont be as high because it wont be in the middle of the holiday rush

we will see threads titled "PS4 sells less than what the terrible PS3 sold at launch" or something like that

=P

Man lots of rumors lately, but anyway I think announcing the new consoles too long from their launch is a really bad idea, that would make the current consoles sales decrease. 

Nope, Microsoft will NEVER, EVER reveal the XBox 720... well, at least not until there is a sport that involves robots boxing that replaces human boxing.

e3 is really useless nowadays, gaming companies could also show their new stuff only on youtube with a short twitter message a week before and it would be as successful

And Sony needs to pick up their pace. PS7 needs to hit stores along with cybornetics.

These consoles are overdue for announcement considering they are coming this holiday.

Yeah but if the consoles launch on November that means there's a 8 months difference, that's too long imo. E3 should be a better date.

E3 is too short of an annoucement to release window. Besides E3 is the place to announce and show off games. Hardware reveals should be done before E3.

Hosting a PS4 event and inviting all the press guarantees you get maximum coverage for your console.
