Back in the day companys used to have mascots like. SEGA-Sonic,PS1-Crash bandicoot,PS2-Ratchet&clank,Jak&Daxter. Now we have Drake a murderer who kills people for money,Master cheif a killing machine. Do you understand me now.

Because those games was mildly popular.  Mario has a chance of selling between 1-35m with his main titles. R&C, Crash, and Kacl can barely push 1-2m copies.  At least do research before posting garbage.

So a decline in focus rather than sales.

And sales. Kiddy games we're huge sellers back in the day.

And this thread is horrible.  Do research.  You mentioned Halo and Call of Duty as being games kids are being raised on but completely ignored the fact that Mario Kart has sold more than 30 million.  New Super Mario Bros is what above 20m?  Then Super Mario Galaxy is close to 10m.  Super Mario World 3D is at like 6-8 and Mario Kart 7  is similar.  Those outsell halo and even though Call of Duty is multiplatform New super mario Bros competes with it while Mario Kart Wii beat it.  People are still buying these games by the mass

In any case, that's not what you said. You said that E-rated games are in a "huge" decline.
