OT: Yes. But not until most of the current well-known gaming related brands have died before him.

Back in the day companys used to have mascots like. SEGA-Sonic,PS1-Crash bandicoot,PS2-Ratchet&clank,Jak&Daxter. Now we have Drake a murderer who kills people for tresure,Master cheif a killing machine. Do you understand me now.

Because those games was mildly popular.  Mario has a chance of selling between 1-35m with his main titles. R&C, Crash, and Kacl can barely push 1-2m copies.  At least do research before posting garbage.
