maybe a FF game, GT, and GTA.
Handheld market is losing more and more breath to mobile(tablets and smartphones), it is expected.
Admitting it now, then?
He's right, long term is the key. I just don't see long-term success when there's nothing short term to build on.

He's chosen the right side. You can't blame him for this!
They predicted first 14 m Vita + PSP, and it will end where, around 6-7m? Yeah, really - the low end XD

Still within their "expectations" |
Does that mean anything? They already lowered the sales expectation for the Vita before and it still is in the "lower bound" of their expectations. That sounds very bad. They need a system seller ASAP, if Vita continues to fail this year I don't see it getting anywhere.

All of these and a price cut. But unfortunately I don't see that happening. Maybe if they hire another studio to do a GTA game hmm..., same with GT. It wouldn't even need to be a full GT, just something quick and easy with good graphics. Look at what Nintendo is doing, releasing a new game in their biggest franchises almost once a year. |
me either but it's worth a shot. shooter will sell it in the west, and RPG's will sell it in JP. something new and different will sell it everywhere.
Sony needs to drop the price of the vita for it to take off
VITA 32 GIG CARD.250 GIG SLIM & 160 GIG PHAT PS3

I think that was adjusted to 12m. The PSP will get about 4m of that, so 8m Vita's expected. It will likely end up 6.5m shipped by end of March.
