I'm sure you will be able to connect an external HDD like the Wii U, so you shouldn't worry about it.

It sure would be a biest...but I don'T think this will happen... what price point is microsoft aiming for?? 800$ ??

I think that they will go with a 7000 radeon card or maybe an upgraded 6800 who knows...but not the newest techs... and If they build such a machine won't kinect 2.0 add too much cost to it??

If true the 720 is going to be a monster.

Thats some seriius horsepower considering consokes dont have near the background tasks running like a PC does. And are much easier to optomize game engines for. If the 720 carries this power we are going to see a huge leap next gen

It's also going to be pricy.

I have $900+ saved(month by month) just to buy the first next gen console that appears from sony or MS. So I can afford a $600+ console plus some games at launch.

MS is definitely going to subsidize the prize with a 3 year online contract - just like cell phones do now and being a media box will probably sell through cable providers too (who might bundle it with other services and discount the price further).

This gives MS the ability to really step up the tech to levels PS can't compete with (We've seen repeatedly that Nintendo doesn't need high-end tech to survive and thrive) while still remaining cost competitive.

You are probably one of the few people that will do it or even can do it...

I believe both Sony and MS will bring a contract model for their new consoles. This system works on smartphones and I bilieve that it also works on consoles.

MS is doing so now with 360.  We've seen nothing to indicate Sony is moving in this direction, but they sure ought too.

The console will have to offer way more than just gaming and online to attract non-gamers into the contract. I can definitely see that happening with MS but not so sure about Sony since I think the PS4 will be a more traditional console.
