UT or Quake for best Arena Shooter to messure 1vs1 Skill

Battlefield(3) the best modern shooter for everyone to messure skill - No competition here.
BF3 was the messiah of this Gen especially the PC Version.This is how a modern MP Military shooter should be.

Counter Strike the best Tournament Team Shooter.

Killzone 3 as the best Console FPS.Lol@you know what game

UT and Tribes (with the mods installed) were my favourite two.

You talking about the most recent Tribes that is on Steam (Ascend)?  I haven't tried it out yet even though it is F2P.  Still waiting on a new graphics card before I try any semi graphic intense game.  I played the hell out of Tribes 1 though.  The bases, vehicles, jet pack, etc left a big impression on me when I was a teenager.  I even had an ISDN connection when most were still on 56k or lower modems.  Tribes is the reason why Halo never impressed me that much.


Tribes 1.

I tried the new one. It is better than the efforts in between Tribes one and the latest. My only problem is you have to unlock shit. And when u start out you are at a HUGE disadvantage as you have limited weapons and classes.
