I don't see any reason to ignore what genre a game is in but if you are going to come in here and defend him then tell me how this game is more similar to a JRPG than a WRPG besides it being developed by a japanese developer?

...what's up with that post? Why did you ask if it mattered? No, it doesn't matter, but he can give his opinion, just as you did. And why did you say "You know it is ok to like both genres right?" He never said JRPGs are better than WRPGs, so where did that question come from?

Because there is no reason to disregard what genre something is in.....Japanese developers can develope WRPG's and Western Developers can develope JRPG's.  
Does it really matter if it is a JRPG or not is what I meant.  As in if you considered it a WRPG would you like it any less?  If the developers them selves say it is like a WRPG who do you think I'm going to side with? A forum poster or the developers them selves.  Even when you look at mechanics of this game everything is like a WRPG.

So as I said before, do not defend him and one of you two can tell me how this game is a JRPG since he is going to consider it one.  

I guess Gran Turismo is an arcade racer now, and not a sim racer.  That is what I'm going to start calling it, an arcade racer.  My opinion so it doesn't matter what you say, my opinion is right. That is what you two are basically saying. Do you know how foolish that sounds Jay?

I never got into this game as much as I wanted to. Still so much I didn't explore -mainly the dark tendency world and its inhabitants.

Honestly, the whole world tendency thing confused me. Either that or I didn't invest enough time to try and understand it.

First of all, I never said ethomaz was right or wrong about it being a JRPG, so I deleted everything that concerned that.

I want to know why you post things like "Does it matter?" No, it doesn't matter, but if he thinks it's more like an JRPG, then he has the right to say so, especially if he plans to back up his assertion later.

If we only posted things that "mattered", then why did you say it's more like a WRPG? If it doesn't matter what genre it is, then why did you mention it's genre at all? Why bring it up? WHY? I know...because you wanted to express what you felt the genre was. The same applies to ethomaz. Is ethomaz correct? That's another story.
