Yes... PS3 will sell over 110 million this gen.

No chance whatsoever.

That already a fact... quote me after 2016 please.

I doubt it, and even if they eventually do it really doesn't matter anymore. It would be an entirely pyrrhic victory.

Have some time to kill? Read my shitty games blog. http://www.pixlbit.com/blogs/586/gigantor21

:D

No. i don't think it will be close to be honest.

There's definitely a chance. A slim chance, but it's still possible. I'd say Sony is more likely to reach this than Microsoft, however. Both systems are losing steam fairly quickly, but the PS3 seems to perform more consistently throughout the year. Sony also seems very committed to supporting the PS3 for a few more years, while I feel that MS is eager to drop the 360 and move onto the next system whenever its released.

Nintendo can still pull a few strings to keep the Wii alive for a little while longer though. The console itself is still $129.99 in the US, which means they can probably afford to bring the price down more and squeeze out a few million more units before finally discontinuing it.

Yes, the PS3 will at least reach the Wii. My guess is that the Wii will die in about two to three years at the most with about 115 million, while the PS3 will fade in four to five years at around the same or a little more (120 million). The Xbox would die around 100 million in about three years or four at the most.

I'd guess that the PS3 has a slim chance while the 360 doesn't. I'm going to estimate the final unit sales for each system as:

Wii - 103 million
PS3 - 97 million
360 - 88 million

I don't think so, but they're plenty of crazy PS3 fans who think it can.

Nope to both but I doubt I'll still be a member in 2021 if the PS3 did finally pass it.
