There's definitely a chance. A slim chance, but it's still possible. I'd say Sony is more likely to reach this than Microsoft, however. Both systems are losing steam fairly quickly, but the PS3 seems to perform more consistently throughout the year. Sony also seems very committed to supporting the PS3 for a few more years, while I feel that MS is eager to drop the 360 and move onto the next system whenever its released.

Nintendo can still pull a few strings to keep the Wii alive for a little while longer though. The console itself is still $129.99 in the US, which means they can probably afford to bring the price down more and squeeze out a few million more units before finally discontinuing it.
