That's the reason I take Sony movies, musics and games reviews with a grain of salt.

I think they paid a settlement but not 100% sure.

What makes you think reviewers are not part of the advertising machine? I am sure Sony paid reviewers for marketing reasons... but so did everyone else.



Despicable.



To be honest, it makes no difference to me so it's not something I'll complain about.

The only annoyance I generally find is when you have music videos on Youtube that you cannot view in your region yet you can find them in the search. It's just stupid.

Okay, prof's link seems to suggest that the article is entirely wrong, and I have no idea what is going on, so I'll just lock this and anyone should feel free to post a thread with the correct information.
