Forums - General Discussion - Do we really need to kill animals??

Some people just have too much time on their hands, if he grew up hungry as shit then he'll eat whatever he can get his hands on including all the meats! :) I'm also pro-cannibalism if we have nothing left to eat for survival for as long as it's fully cooked. The problem is also if all we eat only plants and don't touch animals, we'd run into another problem which would result in overall lower vegetation on the planet which would fuck our human eco system which would end result in pro-hunting and meat eating lol. I think we have a pretty good balance so far.

You'll also excuse me if I don't care about cows being raped by metal insertions if it gives people jobs and give grown ups something to drink since we don't exactly want to suck on our women's tits after they got a baby in them, goat milk is better than cow milk BTW, we should just go that route in the masses IMO.

I understand people's desire to eat meat but with mass production, little thought is given to animal welfare.  We've gone too far with the torture and suffering of animals.  With our technological know-how we can alleviate the suffering, and people can still have their meat and dairy.  Unfortunately it's people like you who say "I don't care about..." that make the problem worse.  That's the number one problem of socity today (selfishness, arrogance, greed...)

I like how the description is all like "stress again the cruelty of hyenas" when I was all like "this shit is awesome and that's smart as hell!"

Meat has essential vitamins and nutrients. Barbaric it is indeed but as is nature, I can show a hour video of animals eating other animals in the wild to the same effect as this video that does not mean animals should become vegetarians too, does it?

You see carnivore animals eating meat freash from other animals cos for a start they are carnivore by nature as they have smaller intestines then non carnivore animals (such as ourselfs as we choice to eat meat it is not need to eat it, i learned this from the video you should watch it).

Anyway guys before replying at least watch 20 mins of the video it will open your eyes, take this from a meat lover myself. I eat meat all the time everyday but after watching this video i really am going to try change my ways.

Question. If we where to be eating meat, why out of all the foods we can eat (Not including poison type foods etc) its the only type of food that can give us heart problems and other diseases etc etc??

It gives us heart disease yet Dr. still recomend it... weird. huh?

Problem is unlike other animals we kill many more then we need. also id like people to watch the video or at least 20 mins of it before replying xD.

I watched up to the part where he said the oldest and strongest addiction and immediatly stopped

Well you would of learned alot if you had to watch the rest of it. I bet not one person can watch this video and say he is wrong with a good reason proving their point. We are not carnivors and we dont need to eat meat. do you not think animals think and feel things like us? would you go out and cut up your dog/cat whatever pet you have and eat him? is it ok to do as long as your not the one doing it?

Would you also be ok with your fellow humans being cut up and fed to you as meat to eat?

being a former vegetarian and being that my mom is vegan it's nothing i dont already know. I would eat dog and cat too.

If you where watching that video and replace the animal that gets its baby ripped out from its insides with someone you care about or your own pet if you have one? (Cant really see you being a pet owner anyways but id like to know?) would you still think it was so cool?.

If you was walking down the street with your pregnant gf and a bunch of men came over and cut her open started to eat at her and then cut her baby out of her womb and carried it away would you think it was so cool?.

there you go with those fallacies again...

imagine how rampant and unbalanced the population of animals would be compared to humans. and also I dont feel like ive eaten a meal without meat apart from cereal.

Your statement is misleading.  Yes meat has essential vitamins and nutrients, however, all those nutrients can also be had from grains, legumes, vegetables, etc. Did you know that beef is only 55% efficient as a protein? That means for every 20 grams of beef you eat you are only using 11 of those grams of protein and the rest goes to waste.

Also, soy is considered a "complete" protein meaning it has the 9 essential amino acids your body cannot create itself, just like meat.

Finally, it's been shown that a vegan diet is most effective in decreasing the effects of diabetes, even beyond the FDA recommended diet for people with type 2 diabetes.  Studies have shown that after 6 months, a high percentage of people on a vegan diet were able to significantly decrease or even stop their insulin injections.  Important information since just about everyone in the US knows someone with diabetes.

hahahahaha, they are not humans, they are our food stock, have you ever looked at a piece of chocolate and go "poor trees, I hope they didn't chop you down like a piece of trash and then gets processed into this tasty powder with the end result of the sweet thick nectar that's about to go into my mouth!" A facility like you are describing requires a lot of money and maintenance, people wouldn't be able to make a profit that way and the prices would sky rocket and fuck our economy even further, it's non-sensical. I don't care if it's animals or plants, I'll consume them so I can live, I was taught to leave no food behind because I was raised by after-war people and not the US where wars haven't existed since the mid 1800s. I know the value of food, and I'm a full predator.

It's day 12 of veganism for me right now.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(
