Gearbox Giving Out Borderlands 2 SHiFT Codes For Valentine's Day

Gearbox Software wants to give you something special to celebrate Valentine's Day... Borderlands 2 SHiFT codes, of course! What could be more romantic?

Gearbox took to social media via Twitter and Facebook to announce that tomorrow special codes will be distributed for the holiday.

For those who don't know about SHiFT codes and how to redeem them, you can find out here. The codes give players Golden Keys to open special chests in Borderlands 2. Codes usually remain active for three hours once they're posted, so be sure to keep your eye on Gearbox's social media feeds.

Isn't the most romantic day of the year and Borderlands 2 a great combination?

1. What's Until Dawn?

2. Why is this girls boobs so big? Her waiste makes no sense, I wish they didn't make such unrealistic figures on girls in video games, and at the same time give the men the figures of 12 year old boys. It makes an unfair standard, and I think she would be hotter with more reasonable proportions and smaller boobs.

3. Poll Question: Would you buy a Premium PS4 if it were backward compatible with PS3 games? A) Yes, but no more then $40, $70, $100, etc. B) No I own a PS3. C) No I don't own a PS3, but If I wanted to play PS3 games I'd get one, etc.

Japanese manga is often very stylistic.  They're not aiming for real proportions, not usually.  Read a manga geared toward girls, for example, and the guys will be stick figures with impossibly long legs.  The point is to emphasis the most appealing aspects.  It's not intended to be taken as a literal representation of the human body.  Much of Japanese fantasy follows the same path, with insane costumes and hair-styles, and of course, crazy powers that come nowhere near to making any sense at all.  It's like mecha, it makes no sense, but it's kind of fun.

Also, I still own every console I've ever bought.  I really don't need the PS4 to be backwards compatible, especially if it's going to be more expensive. It's an incentive for new Sony console owners, though.

Believe me, I know. I watch a lot of anime, and I've seen anime targeted toward women, and I know what you're talking about.

I don't mind the crazy hair colours and clothing, that's interesting, but does every girl need DDD breasts? Older Anime's didn't have such overly emphasized breast augmentations. In Dragon Ball Z, Bulma is a 34C, which is pretty average, and she looks good.

I'm just complaining though, I'll still get Tales of Xillia, but I feel boobs are just getting a bit too big. Look at older Tales games and see the breast shrink.

I think Judith (Right) looks a lot more proportionate then the Xillia girl. She at least has a waiste and some hips. Estelle is realistic, but I understand you need a bit of sex appeal.

Sheena from To Symphonia looks even more realistic. Still a C/D cup, but a normal waist, and yea. I think this is more ideal, and IMO looks better where Xillia/Vesperia look a bit stupid with over the top boobs.

Tear doesn't even look that skanky at all, and is very reasonably proportioned.

Nanaly, while skanky, probably has a B cup chest, which is normal for an asian girl.

Boobs are getting too big for me in Anime, it's taking away from the game.

You know in Medevil times Europe, large breats were considered ugly because it took away from the fitness and range of mobility of women. They were just in the way, lol. I kinda agree, I like girls with fit and firm chests and....yea this is getting weird now.

Point is, they really gotta cut back on the breast sizes in Anime.

P.S. My PS3 broke about 2 years ago, and I didn't have it for long. So I kinda want a BC PS4, otherwise I'm going to get a PS3 on Black Friday and do a years worth of Catch Up. I can't ignore games like Tales of Xillia, and InFamous 2, so BC is very important to me. HEck one reason I got a 360 was because I never owned an XB and wanted to play Halo 2/Conker/Jade Empire, plus a few others.

^^^^ Every time I take a look at pics like those I wonder how much David Bowie in his Ziggy Stardust phase and work that Kansai Yamamoto did for him in early 70's influenced manga/anime...or was it other way around....

Stepping Into Vergil’s Shoes With Devil May Cry’s Upcoming DLC

Luigi had to wait years before starring in his own games without his brother. DMC’s Vergil only had to wait a matter of weeks following the game’s release before stepping out from Dante’s shadow. I’ve played the first two chapters of Capcom’s new DLC offering, Vergil’s Downfall, which picks up directly after the first game’s ending.

I won’t give away what happens at the end of Devil May Cry, but Vergil begins his quest in rough shape. He’s recovering from a vicious attack and trying to piece together what happened. He wanders through what appears to be a Limbo version of his childhood home. As in the main game, the environments evoke a ghostly beauty that’s hard to match. This iteration of Dante and Vergil’s old home is fractured and torn, with bits of the huge dwelling floating on different pieces of shattered earth.

All new enemies emerge from the nether, including a black, wispy phantasm with an animal skull reminding me of the Grim Reaper-like enemies from the original. Vergil is no less competent at dispatching these demons than  his brother, but goes about it differently. His projectile attack launches swords towards his foes, teleporting Vergil towards them or bringing them to him depending on which shoulder button is pressed. His katana deals swift damage that’s devastating in one-on-one battles. He eventually acquires a angelic version of this attack which allows him to dash through groups of enemies and deal moderate damage. Unlike his raw and unrefined brother, Vergil’s quick teleportation and clean swordsmanship lends an air of elegance to combat.

After working through the first chapter, players reunite with the graffiti-tagging medium, Kat. She’s being pursued by some huge, awful beast and Vergil gives chase. This section takes place on the floating remains of city streets. Several platforming segments require players to use Vergil’s sword projectiles to teleport across floating land masses or drag them towards him. After several more heated skirmishes Vergil catches up with Kat, who morphs into a demonic version of herself. Kat chides Vergil, insisting he’s not half the man Dante is. The interaction cuts through Vergil’s calm demeanor, and he appears to go through some sort of internal metamorphosis.

While I’m not sure what happens next with Vergil, I predict he’ll get some sort of demonic weapon which grants him slower, more powerful attacks to contract his angelic sword. Capcom says Vergil won’t receive quite as many weapons and abilities as Dante, but there are still a number of upgrades and new moves to learn at the shops. Achievement hunters can look forward to blasting through a new batch of challenges as well. Vergil’s Downfall supposedly clocks in somewhere between 3-5 hours, depending on player skill. That’s close to half the main campaigns total length, an impressive offering from Capcom. This is shaping up to be a new act worth checking out.
