Here is our chance everyone, seen release dates that are wrong, sales that haven't been counted, those God of War III numbers that you think needs fixing? List em here!

"As for missing data, we have a lot on at the moment behind the scenes so this isn't a priority but if someone wants to make a definitive thread listing all of the current mistakes / omissions from the database then it is something we can work through when we get chance."

So, let's make a list, so ioi & co. can browse through it when they have the time, and fix the "errors".

===================================================================

Europe sales of older X360 titles missing in the DB (Thanks to Barozi):

=============

God of War III sales being too low (Thanks to JustThatGamer):

"During June of 2012 Vgchartz adjusted all of the God of War games up after Sony announced the franchises sales at E3. However, God of War III was adjusted up from 4.37m to 4.95m from the 5th - 12th June then it must have been accidently readjusted back to it's original figures."

=============

Keep em coming guys!

This is a great idea for a thread and I'm the first to contribute an error, awesome. It's funny, when people have a chance to explain why they think a game is over/under-tracked in a dedicated thread where there's a possibility that the games could be adjusted by ioi if he sees fit there's no replies at all. Just shows how many people moan about the tracking of Vgchartz with no basis in fact.

Also Darksiders for the PS3 has no sales data at all. http://www.vgchartz.com/game/64763/darksiders/

I'd be more inclined to contribute if there was some guarantee that issues or errors would be fixed. There have been a several threads lately that point out issues/bugs with this site, but they fall on deaf ears.

There's some games that I can't add to my game collection namely Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale. The add game button doesn't show, only "Wish list" and "Track"

GT5 stands at ~8.4 millions sold here, but Polyphony updated its sales to ~9.2 million:

While indeed a issue (Will add to the OP), if you want to add them right now, just click on track, then go to your tracked list, and from there you can add it.

Thanks for this loophole!

According to Famitsu LTD for MGS4 till the end of 2011 in Japan was 904k.

Vgchartz lists 830k as of now.

I know this will probably never get noticed, but I don't know any of the DB admin here (and I don't know if they have the power to make changes anyway) but here are some of the things I've spotted from following some games for a while:

FIFA Vita tracking :

There are two FIFA games for Vita: FIFA Soccer and FIFA 13.  All the North American sales for the title have been added to the first version, even sales that FIFA 13 made.  Italo correctly spotted it 3 months ago yet FIFA 13 sales are still being added to FIFA Soccer.

Atelier Totori Vita name:

The game was correctly put into the database as Atelier Totori then got changed to "Alien" for some odd reason last week.  Still not been changed back.  The developer is also not correct.

Angry Birds 3DS undertracked:

According to NPD numbers yesterday it sold between 400k & 500k in the USA LTD.  We have it at 200k.  Undertracked by... a lot.

Mario & Sonic 3DS undertracked:

According to NPD numbers yesterday it sold between 200k & 300k in the USA LTD.  We have it at 126k.  Also pretty heavily undertracked.

Kingdom Hearts 3DS overtracked:

According to NPD numbers yesterday it sold between 300k & 400k in the USA LTD.  We have it at 500k.  Overtracked by at least 100k.

LEGO Star Wars 3DS overtracked:

According to NPD numbers yesterday it sold between 300k & 400k in the USA LTD.  We have it at 420k.  Overtracked by at least 20k.

The only reason I'm bringing up the 3DS numbers is because we've already had heavy adjustments for a number of Vita games based on NPD yesterday (few games adjusted up, loads of games adjusted down).  Was expecting the same for the 3DS based on the information, but nothing has changed, don't want it to go un-noticed.

There may be some further NPD adjustments needing doing for both 3DS & Vita, I haven't checked some of the smaller games from the numbers.

Hope this gets seen at least, but probably not.

On my games collection

I can't add Far Cry 3 or Black Ops 2 onto my collection, wishlist and tracked are the only options.
Assassin's Creed 1 (PS3) doesn't show up.
