You know that not the whole Europe launched yet? For example, Russia, we are NoE territory, but we'll start getting WiiU consoles only after 21th of December and in VERY limited amount. Yes, I know that Russia is Sonyland mostly, but Nin still can sell some thousands units here at launch...

Yeah, here's hoping that the rest of Europe can boost the sales by enough to offset the poor first week... I think we won't see such a sharp drop after launch in Europe as we have and will in North America and Japan.

So I don't know, how's the supply situation in US/UK, but in Russia we had VERY supply constrained launch. No units at all.

Funny thing - they promised launch 30th of November, same as the rest of Europe, a lot of people preordered. But then 26th of Novemer Nintendo of Russia made an official statement: "Launch delayed till 21st of December."

That's weird :/ Unless they redirected units that would've gone to Russia, and sent them somewhere else in Europe... But that's just some speculation... I know here in Canada they seem to be in supply... I could walk to Walmart now and buy one if I had the money :P

PS we live in the two biggest countries on Earth :P NORTHERN POWER. YEAH!

Northern Power, yeah! (You know, I from Murmansk - the biggest city in the world beyond the polar circle...)

And on the Nin situation in Russia, they missed this territory before. Almost no advertising, no supply. Most people was just buying their Wiis, DSs, 3Dss and games thru Germany, amazon. Russian Eshop  on 3DS - they started only August 2012.

But hopefully this will change - in the last Nintendo Directs we get special messages from Mr Shibata. He even tryed to speak some Russian, and in the first message he told us that Nintendo is very serious in coming to Russia. Sadly in the second  message he was giving his apologies for the delay of Russian launch of WiiU... (((

So, I just wanna be sure I've understood this right. We're here to predict what Wii U's global sales will be in it's second week of being available WW? So that week is actually THIS weeks sales? Since this is the second week it's available WW.

Well 2nd week of sales if we align the launches from the 3 major markets... So 2nd week sales (Next Week) in Europe and Japan where it just launched... and 2nd week sales (This week) for North America.

The second week in Europe was LAST week, and coincides with the first week of Japan. The first week in Europe ended in the 1st of December, the second week ended in 9th of December. And since Europe bought 170k in two days I expect them to sell a minimum of 100k for the whole second week, and the same goes for US - perhaps even more.

All in all, I think the 2nd week aligned will see more than 300k Wii U's sold.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Going to trend, it'll drop do 250k for second week.

About (130 000 / 412 000)*100 percent of the first week sales in Europe. In japan, the same as first week with an error margin of about 20 percent in either direction.

31.5% of 1st week in Europe? Thats really low don't you think?? Do you mean it will go down by that amount?

I was guessing that the EU launch was supply restrained (maybe Nintendo prioritized supplying units to Japan) and the second week will suffer shortages because of that. Maybe an unrealistic guess though.

Now that I think of it, if it has supply I'll guess either sales increase or they remain flat. Christmas is coming after all.

I LOVE ICELAND!
