Maybe the video game industry is in decline because investors/publishers are all getting their advice from Pachter who then shouts the word to the media which in turn makes investors nervous and our industry declines.

lol. The media just focus on the nearest controversy they can to generate hits. Its gotten to a point where I just need to read the word 'analyst' in the headline and I know who it was that said it.

And for the record, only aggregate "retail" sales are down.  Overall sales are actually up (overall including digital transactions which NPD does not track).
