Ahh dammit, despite me wanting one, my parents have blocked me from buying it for my brother as it's "too expensive". I'll likely get it later but for the meantime will settle for 3DS, how's the BC on it in regards to the DS games?

Good but not great. The colours look a bit washed out sadly and there's black lines around the edges. However, you can use the slider for all DS games so that's a plus.



 

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Its 99.99% BC with everything ever playable on Wii. It plays these games EXACTLY like the Wii did.

Visuals are up-scaled to whatever you have the WiiU set to output.
Controls are identical.

If you're considering a WiiU, there is no reason to own a Wii. You lose nothing.

Except money, Wii is a lot cheaper than Wii u!

But there's also no new Wii games coming out really so if you're intrigued by any WiiU titles you may as well cut out the Wii altogether.
