These Wii U updates are way too big. I'd love to know if this new update fixes the slow OS loading times.

I already said its faster, but you confirm it, maybe I am hallucinating!

These updates are not that big, though they should do a better job of doing them in the background, perhaps mine wasnt because I forced it to update.

mine had already started when I turned it on so I was free to do whatever I wanted while it downloaded in the background

done :P

I don't understand why people are such cheapskates with their internet subscription. You can get unlimited broadband dirt cheap.

Nope. Not in the suburbs.

For me bandwitdth isn't the problem, its speed. I can't get super high speed internet at a reasonble price. I assume its the same in the city, there just isn't enough competition between ISPs.

Even if I wanted to pay $500/month for fast internet I cant ... since where I live there is no faster inet then 0.5mbit :(

but on topic ...
damn those updates are big, but at least nintendo is acting pretty fast to fix the problems. Looking good so far.

I can quit out of a game faster now I think, doesn't feel as long unless I'm just crazy.

holy fuck i just went to update it and shit says like 1 and a half hours slow ass connection i got smh

seems like it just replaced some of what was only in the previews update as it did not take up any more space

hmm don't feel much of a difference. probably just a stability update

You should feel it again, it feels faster, it speaks clearer... yes, its better, it also may have added in some TVii functionality that we are not yet seeing.

It's not any faster. So what did this half a gig update do? Tvii isn't there either. And I'm sorry download, restart install ( took longer than the download) and restart is sad for a machine in 2012. Nintendo need to get a handle on this.

my 2012 computer still restarts so I don't know what you're talking about >_>

but I have win 7 :P

even my macbook pro from 2011 restarts on updates
