Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Wii U criticism: Warranted or Unwarranted

Warranted.

Wii U isn't future-proof. But then again neither was the Wii and look how that turned out.
I think as a consumer you should be disappointed with Nintendo's decisions, but as an investor you should be really happy.

As a consumer have you played with friends on the system?

As a consumer I am not disappointed with them trying something different. Again.

I know its mostly Nintendo heads that have the system so far, but I have yet to read someone slagging of their purchase. There might be some, just haven't seen it.

Yes.

www.spacemag.org - contribute your stuff... satire, comics, ideas, debate, stupidy stupid etc.

Around the Network

its warranted if ur talking about the tech and want them to futureproof their console.

It turned out pretty well...?

Ignoring this article, most of the criticism leveled against Wii U is completely warranted -- but should be considered in context. Most are comparing its capabilities (especially online) to those of the PS3 and 360 as they are now, and this is okay, even "warranted," but a bit unfair without taking the circumstances into consideration.
